okay so about my earlier statement about being able to BDITCIT for a possible long glidetoss, I don't think it works. I did some research with the cracker barrel since I knew some characters get long slides after picking it up with dash attack, pretty sure that's because when you pick up the cracker barrel you go straight into the 'holding cracker barrel' animation so it auto cancels your dash attack, meaning it's the dash attack giving you the slide and not canceling it or anything like that, so MAYBE a dash item toss can do it with diddy, but I doubt it.
So this went into my next part of research and it turns out characters do a true DACIT when they try to DACUS over a cracker barrel, basically they cancel their dash attack with the cracker barrel toss so they slide and instantly throw it, this can't be done with bananas or any other item, reason being is because you go straight into the cracker barrel holding animation so you can instantly throw it where as with items like bananas you carry it over til the end of the dash attack.
So basically in order to do a long glidetoss we need to be able to cancel our dash attack some time during it while still retaining that momentum and then have an item in our hand while we have that momentum. Which the only thing I could possibly see MIGHT working is picking up the banana at the start of the dash attack and somehow cancelling the dash attack after that (we can't cancel it with just a throw) WHILE retaining that dash attack momentum.
OR
somehow be able to extend our dash item throw cancel so we get a bigger momentum boost from that
creative thinking time guys.
