and it's not even online (at least so it seems) how lame. There goes nintendo making a great multiplayer game but making it impossible to really utilize it again.

Well, that's another update down. It's 3am for most people, but it's just about dinner time for me, so I'm going to put on some macaroni & cheese. Mmmm, yum.

I hardly ever if not rarely used the tournament mode in Melee, so this update doesn't do anything for me. I'd rather just play a quick match rather than fumble with all of those settings.

Sakurai isn't going to release every detail before the release of Brawl. There's 46 update days left (if he doesn't double update but he will some days). I'm sure that there's more than just 46 things left to update which he will update after the release of Brawl.

Also 20+ of those 46+ updates left until Brawl's release are going to be Character updates (Final Smash, Special Moves, Profiles). If that there is the starting lineup then there will be nothing but FS and SM updates left but, I'm sure that there are still a few veterans that need to get out of the way (Sheik, Ganon, C. Falcon, others) if they are in fact still in Brawl.

well, at least we know the item switch is back. I suppose that's the only somewhat enjoyable part of this update.

Seriously, after all the "OMGWTF WIFI!!!!1!!" hype last week, did anyone really expect this week to get even better? There was virtually no chance of that, unless Sakurai put out 5 newcomers or something. Give the man a break, we've still got 2 months and some change to go.

And did he deconfirm a WiFi tourney?

Not sure if I should really be posting it here but I have no where else do it. The topic I was going to post it to was closed (guess who by) before ANYONE got a chance to reply, and wasn't a bad idea for a topic at all.
Besides that, apparentely I can't start topics.

So, yeah. We have 45 updates left. Here's my general predictions.

There can't be any more than 25 pre-unlocked characters I think, so... yeah. Under 5 characters, maybe one every 9 days, what with 45 updates left.

Item-wise, not much I'd think, but plenty of Assist Trophies and Pokéballs (generally at least one of them once a week).

A stage every fortnight, perhaps?

How to Play is getting a bit thin but there are still things left, such as the infamous Crawling, left to use to fill in some slow days.

Game Modes still has a lot of possibility for more Adventure Mode, not to mention Wi-Fi, since the section only has one topic in it at the moment.

And Music. Well, I think we'll see at least one piece of music for each preunlocked franchise before the release of the game, so that's about 18 or so, let's say. No more than 20. We've seen 10 so far, so they could be coming thick and fast soon, what with 10 left to show in SIX weeks.

And at least one more Notice; which will be what happens (if anything) at Nintendo World 2007 in October, as well as release dates for everyone-but-America.

How's that for quick predictions?

It's been tried multiple times. So, for now, we're going to try it again. Not much to be said here, just speculate about future updates. How long has it been since we had a music update? Perhaps it will be a new character? Nobody knows!

With the 45 remaining updates, I get the feeling that there's going to be a lot of filling out of the existing characters moves, a lot more item updates (since it's the one thing that seems pretty limitless at this point if the amount of Pokémon and Assist Trophies are as numerous as the Pokémon from Melee), and more mode updates that we can shake a stick at. Probably a music update here and there, maybe a couple new stages and characters...it's coming down to the wire. Almost two months away and counting and I can hardly wait.
