It's because MLG's money earnings inflated a lot of the movement on the list. X and 3spy are two examples of players who got moved way too high imo.

True, but in the spectrum of things they've earned more money than almost everyone below them. Not to mention they both took out (several) top-10 players in the country in order to place 5th/6th.

Yeah that's a fair way to look at it, I suppose you're right. They did mad work to earn the placings/money that they got.
