If she ends up hidden, I'll just have to play the game, and unlock everyone to see, and it would be a big disappointment to see her not on that character list by the time all the slots are filled.

yeah i really hope that doesn't happen. But I'm figuring that it won't happen, since Starfox has already gotten an assist trophy, and Krystal is more important than Andross, at least recently, considering that the latter has not really even been in the 2 most recent SF games.

I would tend to agree, but my real point was in the opposite side of that statement. If you take the same sexy person and add about three hundred pounds, most people won't consider them sexy anymore (though some still will...BBW is some people's thing). On the other hand, if the face is fairly average but the body is perfect, it would still fall under the adjective of "sexy" more than someone with an average body and a beautiful face. The one with the beautiful face is still attractive, but in a different way, and a different adjective...probably more "pretty" or "beautiful" or even "gorgeous," but I don't think more "sexy" than the other example. Of course, now I'm just on semantics, but I think it's still a valid point (I had a huge long rant about this back in high school).

And anyway, Krystal isn't about furry boobs. If anything she's just about boobs period that just HAPPEN to have fur around them. ZS Samus is more the spokesperson for sex in Brawl already ANYWAY.

As much as I'd like to agree with you because you're awesome, I'm afraid I'll have to disagree!

It would take a long time to explain in detail, but basically it's just about the way the human mind perceives things.

I will give a bunch of examples:
Anime. Anime chicks tend to have really big eyes and people find them cute or attractive, since big eyes are considered child-like, thus cute and thus beautiful and potentially attractive. Of course, those eyes are enourmous! Try imagining a real person with eyes like that. Disgusting, isn't it?

Ink-blots. You know, those strange blobs of ink that psychiatrists show to their patients to evoke emotions? You can see things in them, actively or unconsciously, although they are really, really vague.
Likewise, optical illusions. Is it an old woman or a young woman? Actually, how can you see anything in that random arrangement of lines in the first place?

That's just how our minds work: A great artist could draw a few lines and present to the eye the perfect female figure, and it would recognize it as such, at least if it knew what it's supposed to be. It would be attractive.
Furries work like that. Unless the furry is poorly designed ( too big a topic for now ), the body will evoke the illusion of sexiness, while the animal parts will seem cute and lovely ( again, if they're done right ).
For some reason that I can't explain myself, the two are not separated.

So, in the end, unless you force yourself to dislike it because EWW ANIMAL or unless the character is badly designed or unless you have some odd perception, you'll subconsciously see an attractive furry girl as a cute girl with a great body.

Based solely on what I know of Zamus so far, and the current images we have of Krystal, I'm actually forced to agree that she IS better looking than Zamus. Maybe it's the whole "militant lesbian who is going to kill me" look that Zamus has on her face...

And Fawriel brings up a bunch of good points. Though that specific post I made was meant to show a difference between what key elements influenced what TYPE of attractive labeling more than another (with the body primarily being the determining factor in "sexy").
