what's the difference between magic and miracles?
what separates the bible from Greek mythology?
The proof of God rest on creation. The proof of Jesus being God rest of the people who saw Jesus in person. I've already talked about how many people who saw Jesus in person believed he was God. How did one man convince thousands and thousands of people that he was God? This is what separates Jesus from any other religion. It's nice if you believe in greek mythology or and flying speghitty monster. It's entirely different to say "I am God and I'll prove it in front of thousands of people by raising people from the dead and healing everyone you bring to me."
But just because 1000s of people say something, doesn't necessarily make it true. To really believe in God, you need a personal relationship with him. Hopefully by looking at creation, and then by looking at the story of Jesus, that would be enough for you to at least check it out. The Bible says "Seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened." So go to a church, pray and seek God, and I believe he will reveal himself to you.
inquiry on the matter and then answering someone without trying to change their mind is totally legit.
If you honestly believed that Jesus was the Son of God, and people could have a more fulfilling life by believing in Jesus, then it would be wrong for you not to share your faith. I've never "convinced" a single person to believe in Jesus. I invited Rob Gambino (the guy who posted a few pages back about Jesus) to a church camp about 6 years ago. He did not believe in God, or at least, did not believe in the things the church camp was saying about God. The next thing I know, he is praying at the alter with tears running down his face, and from that time on he has never questioned if Jesus was the son of God.
I did nothing to convince him. He made the choice to seek God, and God revealed himself to him.
i lol'd at zozes video.
dude, seriously...
lol I know it cheesy. But it's pretty ridiculous nonetheless. She has proof of the surgerys and proof that they burned her nerve endings off so that she would feel less pain. Nerve endings don't grow back like that. I believe in God and in miracles, but if I was in a church service and they told someone like her to take off their back and neck brace and walk.... I would freak out. If you saw that in person, or if you knew her before hand, I don't know how you would not at least try to seek God.
