i might be moving up from Louisiana to chicago in the summer and i wanted to know which thread should i post in to find tournaments, carpols, etc

also, check out this lottery ticket that I scratched off at the melee smashfest tonight:





Isn't that the most obscene thing you've ever seen? I won 4 times on one card LOL (and still got only $5)

We run 3 semi-local tourneys

Don't Blink, Don't Care (time TBA)

Cyber Arena (time TBA)

Webster's Paul's Video Arcade (time TBA)

subscribe to the thread, and you'll get news about when they're coming up. Generally speaking, there's 1~2 tourneys per month for IL. Btw, Webter's tourney is in Racine, WI.

We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw that. It was glorious!
Then we bought five more with that ticket. We auto-won $2. Then the place closed it's gates on us. :(

Charlestown Mall blows. It does have a future purpose though! The new location for Dead Rising 3! Because it's so abandoned, plain, and creepy in there...

Does your scene offer carpols to Wisconsin and are the tournaments that happen regularly close to Chicago, plus Louisiana got some good players

we've never gotten housing, there's never this free food they have talked about, its now 2 days instead of 1 because they don't know how to efficiently run a tournament, the venue fee has been like 10 dollars.. why? and its also like a 6 hour drive. there might be more reasons why but yeah i'm sure other people will mention it if i've missed it.

I know I may sound arrogant not my intention but if I move up here I'm going to take the #1 spot i gotta break top 25 in the nation by march of next year
