yeah, pretty much giving the big eff you to NC lol. TGM does look tight though. but the watermelon at ashley's family reunion will be a little tighter.

also, people should get a second car to go to hope. Greensboro is going, and i think a lot of NC is better than midwest. we could just go take that tournament over lol.

Reading this thread makes me sad, it reminds me of when my sister says we should hang out and watch some tv.... and the "some tv" always ends up being some ****ty show with a bunch of drama... and then I try to switch it to Nickelodeon to watch Spongebob, but then she beats me until I have to go to the hospital....

Anyway, DRPP, i don't know if its worth it for me to go to Gold Mine. My classes end before then, so I am tempted to go back to Nova asap, but I would much rather help you fight against planking puff because i really want you to win, and i sort of want to practice it anyway to piss people (Darksyde) off.

The only issue is that it's you, so I'm worried that you are just being nice and the reality is you will figure out how to beat it on your own doing your meditation or however the **** you get better by yourself...... so just let me know what you think.

^^Hell yeah. What I think like.. although I don't even get to play CPUs cuz my controller is at your place. Take notes from this guy above though, a lack of competition certainly doesn't drain the fun out of this game for him. Obviously it doesn't for me either being that I only play his newby ***

I liked your first post better, Kevin. It was much more passive aggressive and "why I oughta..."-like (aka much more like you. :]) than the edit.

Seriously though, I was only speaking on behalf of triangle players; I see them all on a weekly/biweekly basis so I have a strong idea of their financial situations. I myself am not hurting for funds and I look forward to more tournaments.

Also, another reason I realized why attendance seems like garbage is that a chunk of the people in Raleigh (John, David, Austin, Chris, Corey etc) more or less ONLY play Melee in Raleigh/at my house. None of them really have tournaments as a primary interest, at least, not like they used to, so playing is more just for the social/fun aspect.

Who's going to Snap's and Gold Mine 2? I'll only be at Gold Mine 2 but the bi-weekly is snap's last thing he's hosting tourney wise I think so it'd be cool to support it.

You guys don't have buses or subways to get closer to places so that maybe someone can pick you up? I mean here in montreal, you can basically go ANYWHERE in whole montreal island because of either trains, buses or subways.

when my car broke down, i took the greyhound to get home. it was 67 dollars each way. (greensboro to wilmington). there might be cheaper things for more popular routes, but idk...**** pissed me off.

subways don't exist in the south. after the whole underground railroad thing back in the day, it seems people in the south disapprove of the idea.

it's sad that people feel the need to belittle others on the basis that they do not have as much motivation to travel for something that holds very little meaning in society.
