.png, interlaced. It'll remove the annoying white outline, and you won't have to include a background of any kind. But a program like Photoshop would be needed to sake it in a file like that.

I got you. I just messed around with paint. I was on aim with Foxy and asked him if he thought it would look better with a black background and he said hell yeah, so I did it.. didn't feel like manually fixing the border lol

Ace how long had you been playing when this was recorded? i feel like i could be about this good after maybe another month or two of good training, so i kind of want to know how long it took you to get along this far

Chris, I have been playing since summer of 06, competitively since summer of 07, and probably picked up Ganon in late 07. I played sorta smart and knew how to l-cancel and wd, but I never had anyone teach me anything in smash, ever lol... so once I got into the scene I realized how much work my DI needed, as well as my spacing, tech skill, mindgames, teching, etc. I watched a TON of vids (including my own) and played friendlies with as many people as possible, and thought about specific situations I might encounter and how to approach them properly. I finally know a lot about DI (DI is so important for Ganon - a lot of guys have heard me say "getting combo'd is part of the Ganon metagame" lol, there's some truth to that) so if you want to ask me something hit me up on aim.

Edit: while we're on the subject of old vids, this HAS to be the funniest kill in smash history. I just died 3 times over watching it

Cant wait to see how I do. tbh, the real reason i picked up melee again is because i didn't want to be left out of all the fun stuff at pound 4. that tournament is gonna be incredible. melee is too fun.

lol nothing like that dair -> fair combo on fox

and yeah, it was pretty weird to say that "i could be as good as this vid in x amount of time", there are way too many factors to think about stuff like that.

and yeah, all those factors you mentioned are things i'm now trying to figure out too...especially the DI thing. we'll talk on AIM though, cause the difference between DI and "air control" is getting at me, and i don't even know if i have the reaction time to DI...

DI becomes quite instinctual... I never practiced reacting to hits, but I just eventually began smash DI-ing almost every hit subconsciously.

Although I'm sure if you focus on consciously DI-ing well, after about a week it should be mostly unconscious.
