If you guys really want to update these, then I'll do it. I don't care that much.

Matchups are an accurate way to do things, but there are a lot of holes in that method. Lol, I'm not gonna argue with you guys about these, so matchups it is. I wasn't saying we ditch them completely, btw.

I was going to release the results of my formula today, but in trying to perfect it, it hit a snag. stay tuned for a perfect model

some quick details: the data i used for my sample run-through are from bill without a cause, duke rounds 1, 3, and 4

entrants were as follows: 30 17 13 11

this is given that zero attention is paid to previous prs and set counts are ignored. instead, the rankings are based on size of tournament and placing at said tournament. so the higher you place at a tournament the more "points" you receive. but for smaller tournaments, fewer points are given for that ranking. also, 2nd at a large tournament is worth more than 2nd at a smaller since i use ranking % rather than strict placing.

moreover, the adjustments of weighting for attendance, average percentage placing, average ranking placing, and previous pr can all be changed in terms of their importance to the final result.

for example: pp's winning BWAC gives him 1110 points while foxy winning duke round 4 gives him 298 points.

My primary goal at Pound 4 is top 32. Anything beyond that isn't very feasible for me.

My winter break training/thinking will determine whether I feel like I can win 1+ set afterward or not.

you should be gunning for top5. I could see you potentially beating any non-puff/Armada if you were playing really well.

I plan on playing really well. I've never been inconsistent.

I could see a few other people giving me trouble, but I feel like I just need to talk to the right people over the break.

Top 5 just sounds too amazing for me to get.
