If we do 4 month PRs, would I be eligible to be on it when I come back for 3 months during the summer?

I like a 4 month PR as long as we're active enough for it.

it aint gonna happen little buddy. no one in this state can beat gnes
LOL!!! im sure red would probably beat gnes and mero probably would too lol gnes is good though

but yea 4 month PRs im going to try to get on them i guess. they should make PR MM 3$ also since not everyone is rich and also the PR has the ability to decline the MM.

Easy, everyone donates a dollar to Seibrik MM'ing Gnes before tourney,
Seibrik loses MM, maybe, but sees Gnes's style, and then.

-insert bracket **** here-

FL has the mindgames, bro, Gnes is good, but I've confidence in my state.

I agree with 4 months periods.

However, the PR MM system is fine.

PR matches as the cost of the entry fee of a tourney keeps the incentive that you're putting something on the line. Having it any less is like trying to have a piece of the pie without doing much to earn it.

Also, non-PRs have the option to not do them. We don't have to do a PR MM. If you don't have enough, then just do a normal MM with and make sure that the other player is playing at his best or close to it (who wants to lose money?).

Another thing. If non-PRs have the money to challenge a PR to a PR match, while they can decline, they are only limiting their possible record as they can gain wins for their overall record for the period. PRs should be favored to win since they are ranked.

One more thing. PR matches are generally supposed to happen AFTER bracket so players can't abuse the system. With that in mind, PRs don't want to have to go through the grind of playing again after going on late in bracket, so it's only fair to them that the challenging player is taking a risk.

Lastly, PR matches are not limited to only non-PRs. PR matches can involve 2 ranked players to one better their record. Don't think they are trying to act high and mighty against the non-PRs because that's not how it is.

Just my thoughts on the revived issue. Back to the grave you go, PR MM discussion.

I assume you're talking about RedHalberd?
Yeah, it makes sense that he'd have the most chance v. Diddy, because his brother Mampam mains Diddy. He's got that mad MU experience.
The only problem I see is that Diddy himself has such a dynamic playstyle; much like MK, he can be played in MANY different ways.

Thus, if Red were to encounter a top level player who had a different playstyle than Mampam, he might not be used to it.

Or maybe I'm reading too far into Diddy, and if you can **** one, you should have the whole kit kaboodle in the bag.

Rofl im sorry but the hilarious part to this is, if you think Seibrik is good at the diddy MU, you haven't even seen Red or Mero in it.

And Seibrik is ridiculously good at the Diddy matchup.

diddy list that im aware of that he played against and beat this lis contian high level diddy kong players not at gnes or adhd level quite yet but definatly getting there

Mampam
GDX
Dfear(i believe)
Jerz
all very good
none in specfic order

and that logic that you used applys to seibrik the same way. Gnes and adhd do not play the same way

Straight up; but you must agree there's a difference between top level and high level.
Red's a beast, I'm just the cautious guy saying don't assume too much, as Gnes did MAD work at MLG Dallas.

If I remember, the only player to get a game on him was ESAM, who is from our state.
Admittedly, he doesn't use MK, or have the MU experience that Red has, but regardless, that says something about Gnes.

Fix'd, my bad. :)

felix is good but not on that level.
esam dosnt know it as well as he could know it ask him your self
In response to your Felix statement, I merely point at MLG Raleigh.
http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=285244

Notice where Tyrant is, and where Seibrik is, and where ADHD is.
Felix: 3
Seibrik: 4
Tyrant: 6
ADHD: 25 <.<

That speaks for itself.

ESAM might not, I'm not sure. But Tyrant did, and even had M2K coaching him RIGHT THEN.

Nothing worked. Gnes is a great player as well.

But all of this is semantics; we can prove nothing unless we get them in a MM or tourney together.

M2K is definitely not the best coach, however, it was a help to Tyrant; he got to second place.

Just like Felix placed top 3, bro. I'm trying to say Felix is on their level, so Tyrant knew the MU.

If Tyrant knew the MU, then he knew the MU v. Gnes, and that takes your whole argument down because you said that the reason Gnes did so well at Dallas was because no one knew the MU.

But if Tyrant did...
You see my logical sequence?

Edit: I'm off for the night, good debate mayne.
Respond if you want to continue, or don't, either way is fine.

To everyone else: I hope to be on this one day, so when I see Seibrik at the Tallahassee tourney on the 26th, I'mma get advice 'n ****.

This is truth; I did say that.
A'ight, I concede, but there's still little proof without them actually playing.
