I failed you guys. I tried picking up luigi on a competitive level and it's just hard
dealing with characters that can lame/camp/time him out.

Luigi just doesn't have many options on approaching his opponent safely.
Like me getting 3-stocked by quest's toonlink in wi-fi tourney....which took him nearly 7 1/2
minutes to do. And by him doing that, i finish in 3rd place. (2-1)

^^And that's why I usually stick to Mario. I'll forego some KO power to actually be able to get in on people.

if there is anyone that is still using luigi. Just a tip. When playing against characters that plank like R.O.B. you can use cyclone to bring the planking character onto the stage. The reason being the front of cyclone brings the opponent into the cyclone. This could also work on Metaknight.

Also a good bait is fsmash tiltled to regular fsmash. The IASA frames allows the second fsmash to come out faster. It works well because not many players know that luigi can throw out a 2nd fsmash. Also people tend to think that luigi just threw a smash attack so now he is vulnerable and they try to punish, but they get hit by the 2nd fsmash.

I know mr. concon mentioned the usefulness of nair to up b, but the cool thing I noticed is a lot of the characters that jab to up b don't work well against, (i.e. fox, falco, wolf, sheik, even pikachu and mk), nair to up b works well on them.

Pretty good. I've gone through soo many ****ing changes. The most recent one has been to cut out about 2 minutes of clips I thought were cool but other people might not and I needed to shorten the video.

I'll try not to have my 1666th post on a 6/6, it would piss off the guy in the clouds.
I'm at 1665 right now. I just need to not post anything for an hour.

Edit : oh, shi...

I haven't read anything from you guys about the new smash yet.
Anyone here thinks that waluigi will be in the game? God i'm hoping that he doesn't end up
with the same move sets as luigi. But at the end, he could end up with same style of the brawl
version luigi.

Because bravery is a trait unfamiliar to this game.
Woah. Bravery is not intrinsically involved in the practice of not picking MK. It is just often associated with those who don't. But if you think about it, isn't it them who are most afraid? Afraid to forfeit their alleged semblance of "honor"...

There's some bravery in picking/picking up MK too, since there is a very large chance that the MK MU is the one your opponent has the most exp. in.

Of course, the pros will outweigh the cons in the end.

I think I'm finally convinced it's the year of Luigi. I beat MK and IC's both for the first time in tournament in the same weekend.

Thanks Sama, and BSP idk if your referring to my post or Coolwhip's, but just I was just saying that since it's the year of Luigi and a bunch of Luigi games coming out, it's funny how I beat 2 very difficult mu's that I normally struggle with in tournament as Luigi.

Saw it yesterday. My favorite part when YoshQ was going in on some mk while the song
"MetaKnight da bess" was playing. Lmao
