It could potentially work at low percents. I mean if Fair > Fair works, Fair > Uair has to be legit. Especially since Fair doesn't have a lot of knockback at low percentages. I was doing it in training mode and you're put in a pretty nice spot to follow your opponent's DI, since you're in a neutral position right below them.

I smell snakeI guess I got out my bad placing slump, got 11th outta about 50 people in yesterdays tournament. Zhao got 13th
But yeah it was fun, zhao ***** in doubles getting 2nd. Definitely gunna be teaming up again next tournament.
lol I saw that regardless good job.oh I just wanted to add. Hippiedude you remind of like a cool sensei or mentor only because you've been playing Luigi since like 09 or something. Also as a cool sensei you would always have that attitude where you're like "oh I'm too old for this" or "eh I'm not as good as I use to be" but you pull off some crazy stuff and would definitely out place me no problem. Meeting you was a really great experience. (h)

So Luigis are you familiar with using Shield slide from getting hit by moves and using Shoruyken to counter your opponent? inb4 This is probably old or obvious stuff.
An example is in this replay that I have.
My opponent is falco and phantasms onto the stage, I hold my shield with my back facing him. His phantasm hits me, I slide just a little towards where he lands and Up b.
I've tried this also on aerial moves that push Luigi in his shield and I've gotten shoruykens. Still not sure how to incorporate this since I don't think every character is going to have an attack where they move and it that pushes Luigi in shield just a little so that he moves with them.

Better to just PS everything. Spacies' Side-B plus Diddy's Monkey Flip are the only exceptions to this rule if you can read their landing and get enough slide from the shield to OoS Up-B off the top of my head. Oh, and Falcon & Ganon's Down-B.
Falco's and Fox's Dash attacks are also better off just being regular shielded. They should never just plain dash into you, but if they do, it's a free up B
I'm going to practice Luigi again for some MUs. I know I've got a ways to go. I think that if people aren't scared of your Luigi, you're doing it wrong. He racks damage fast and kills ******** early with Fsmash or Up B. I will raise the fear factor of my luigi!
--Also, I've been stressing to my Louisiana mates about saving our replays so we can all get better. I'll go Luigi more in friendlies and in tournament so the vid thread can get filled up. You guys do the same.

I can actually see that happening IMO.
oh my gosh if there is a SSB4 tourney at the gamestop near me. I hope it isn't stacked and I'll try my best to win. I'll probably be forced to use mario in that case I'll play very defensive.

I played Earth and Rain @ genesis2(was housing em) and they said that Luigi/Mario aren't even used over in Japan. Like they have 1 player, but he's bad in comparison to us state-side. They played me and were @_@ status when we were playing. I told them to play BigLou or YoshQ if they wanna see a better Luigi XD
oh wow that's so cool. Hmm well that answers my question that I commented on this japanese brawl video asking if there were luigis in japan.
Hmm reminds of me dabuz except without the upsmashes.
