i've been playing Ninjaturtles: Tournament Fighters (SNES) alot lately. its very similar to SF2, but imho, its alot funner. playing on emulator of course.

Since no one responded to my post in the LA thread I thought I'd post it here.

I'm calling Jeff at 7:30 about LOST. I need to know what dates to avoid if other people are planning events. I know to avoid November 6-8 due to HOBO and Nick. I know not to have it November 28-29 for the obvious LasT.

I was thinking the saturday before LasT for some practice. I'm hoping that'll give us a bigger turnout for people who want to practice. So how does November 21st sound?

I think it should be on the 14th to get a longer lasting hype for LasT. It might be a long shot, but we could use a potential showing of Lafayette people. Giving them one weeks notice is kinda lame considering this is a huge tournament.

Dibbz can be used on the weekend of the 21st for some practice for LasT.

I got mine a few days back. It looks like fun but I probably won't get it. I don't like the new design. No charts, no quiz, no funny stuff. The number 1 ranking jokes are still there thought and they made a kanye one this time.:chuckle:

I wish I could get into a heavy fighter like SF4, but I have an extremely hard time getting the timing down for it for some reason. Plus, I would have to spend my time towards Brawl and BB.

I think I'm gonna make SF4(or SSF4) on my list for my resolutions next year.

Yeah, that's a good idea. LasT advertisement would be good too. I talked to a couple people yesterday about it, I think I convinced about 2 people to come, lol.

I'll call Jeff right now about the 14th.

Double Post for importance.

LOST is now scheduled for the 14th.

I talked to Jeff about Cash prizes and he said that we cannot exchange money for winners inside the building. But he did say that if we keep tabs on who wins what, we are allowed to give cash outside of the building. He just "doesn't know about it".

For future reference, I'll use EET's second post to show all of the tournament results for the PR for whatever month we're in.

Are the tourneys from this month being used for PR?

I just remembered that I have something to do on the 14th. If we keep it the 14th the tournament won't have a TO.
We'll have to change it to the 21st.

Good, maybe I'll try to host a tournament on the 14th at the Play N'Trade in Kenner.

Good idea Vaughn, and yeah, I think all the tourneys since the very last PR update should be used. So far it would be:

Project: SAVE THE SEA! - 10/9/09
Beerfest Brawl Bash - 10/10/09
Fall Smash - 10/24/09

But other states use OoS tournies in their PR updates too, so if we did that, it'd look like...

I put the stuff up there, but I don't really think we should use anything earlier than this month seeing as how most of our own events finally started up again on this month and it'll give you guys more accurate and recent information.

Phase 2 and NO KOAST are also questionable seeing as how Lee was the only one of us that went to those, but he did really well, so I left them so you guys could basically say that Lee does well OoS, which I assume is one of the things discussed when talking about a PR.

I feel so proud. I just took one of those myspace bulletins where people post about how much they love Jesus and changed every "Jesus" to "Satan." XDDDDD

He's putting a Venue fee so we can have cash prizes. He doesn't find it practical if we hold a tournament there and he doesn't get anything. So he said a $5 Venue fee and we can run the tournament how we want.

In the LAPR panel we generally use everything from the last one since we can see all the changes and how well people do. We especially look at who beat who so we kinda need them all. And you don't really needa type the results out, if you post the links to all of them next to the name and date so we can easily find the threads with the brackets and all that info.
