Space is too limited to advertise a third game, that would bring in a dramatically different player base. I don't mind you doing a 'Smashers only MVC3' tournament, but to bring in the MVC3 crowd + Melee + Brawl is too much. If you want, I can get weekend to run MVC3 tournaments at Dibbz with the same deal I have for Smash.

Should I create a battle chest for Louisiana smash? At every tournament, I'd collect an extra dollar from anyone that enters, keeping the two games separate. After a few months, we could use that money to either sweeten the pot to create a larger event, or we could offer it to car pools from other states to come to our events.

I say we take th elittle kid approach. Everyone get an empty jug and put all your loose change in that *****, then go to coinstar and cash in. Then donate to some big tournament.

I thought about it, but I'd get some organization from every TO/Venue Owner in the state before I went through with it. It would be cool to use it to get payouts beyond Top 4. It'd take a while to build up a substantial amount though.

I wouldn't see it as a good thing to use on a tournament by tournament basis. This would be able to be used to generate hype for a tournament every six months or so. Let's say we generate 150~200 dollars. We'd be able to place that into tournament and have a ton more people show up, since that's the same as having 15 to 20 people entering the tournament. Or, we could split it up and offer it to help car pools of people that are coming to the event.
