The prospect of Ashley, Geno, and K Rool being newcomers in the same game is honestly too amazing to think about.

This was great. You hit a lot of good points and racked up a lot of evidence.

Other things not mentioned that I'm sticking here for completions sake is her being an item character in Smash Tour, her increased prominence in Gold, the fact that some of the Smash Ultimate character videos have appearances by character/series specific Assist Trophies, while Wario's has no such thing, Ashley being used to cross promote games she's not even in such as Tank Troopers, and the fact that one of the Bayonetta Switch ports has foreshadowing to a character becoming an AT, so Badge Arcade, made by the same team as WarioWare, might have been doing something similar with the penultimate Ashley post.

I'm pretty indifferent to most newcomers, as long as they're unique and cool I don't really care who it is or what series etc...

That being said, I would actually love Ashley to be in. I've never played a Wario Ware game but I love everything about her design / theme. She would probably be pretty awesome.

Also, you can get the Japanese and English Warioware Touched versions of Ashley's Song, but now with the vocals being way less compressed, so it sounds a lot better now.

Hopefully, this means the "I'm the cruelest girl you'll ever meet" vs. "I'm the coolest girl you'll ever meet" debate will finally be settled.

I never thought that WarioWare used their cast to the fullest extent, and I think that's why I was sorta meh on a lot of them. But damn does Gold do it's best to make them all so likable. I can honestly say that I like all of them and that Wario has a really cool cast here, that deserves a lot more recognition.

You're right, if any Nintendo series can be turned into a cartoon, it's definitely Warioware.

I can't wait to play Gold for myself. I've been trying to stave off spoilers for the most part, but what I have seen seems really awesome. Literally the only thing that could make this game the best it can be is a Switch port a la Mega Micro/Partygames.

I think that's a good explanation as to why she has a more a helping personality in a meta sense. To me it just looked like she matured along with her voice. It makes enough sense that I'm willing to look past the questionable stuff she did in the past.

And you could be right about it not making sense for her to summon because Ashley hasn't established enough trust with her coworkers. Literally any group shot she's in, except for Gold, she either in a corner, looking away or not reacting at all.

For that reason, I hope that if we do get an Ashley reveal trailer, it's in the form of a party at Warioware Inc celebrating Ashley making it in to Smash. It would give an excuse to have Ko Takeuchi animate it, while being a really wholesome scene of everyone supporting Ashley that breathes character to the series as a whole. It could also lead into that summoning thing I talked about.

The setting for the "ultimate" (or at least one of them) compilation featuring all microgames involves a large portion of the Warioware crew playing some kind of card game during what appears to be a camping trip, including Ashley. And not only is she participating, but when a microgame is failed she collapses comically with everyone. No snide or angry expression, or even just not going along. The first real evidence of her coming out of her shell, and more of the friendship shared between co-workers.

Some people have taken to calling her a tsundere for that line. I think it's a pretty realistic reaction to have. When you're lonely you tend to put up an aura of coolness so you don't look desperate. It's pretty obvious based on her song that this is what she does. Sometimes it's hard to show that you care and you tend to downplay it. I get that from Ashley, and I can relate to it a lot.

Something else I've seen talked about is her relationship with Wario. I think that she still hates him, based on what she brought to the potluck: Garlic. It's not some random thing. Everyone knows it's Wario's favorite food. I think she assumed Wario was coming and brought that poisonous garlic to make him sick.

It's kinda hard to tell, but the newer one sounds a bit different. At around Ashley's solo, you can really hear the difference between the two if you keep an open ear.

Okay, so while I've been on my "prediction roster kick", I decided to count how many Assist Trophies have appeared throughout the series (minus Little Mac, of course), as four newcomers on my "dream roster" are promoted Assist Trophies. The number of Assist Trophies that have appeared in Brawl, 4, and/or Ultimate totals 55. In other words, even if no other new Assist Trophies are added outside of the new ones we've already heard about (Sukapon, Squid Sisters, Bomberman, etc.), if every veteran Assist comes back in this game, Ashley could easily be promoted to playable without compromising the "50+" claim. And, well, let's be serious: they're gonna add more Assist Trophies, so that margin of error can only grow.

I always hope for a new reveal at these things even though I know it won't happen. It's even more unlikely now considering it would be better to just wait for EVO. At least we'll be able to understand what's happening this time around lol.

Well, like I said, it got everything else right, so perhaps the leak is legit, but the leaker got their info before the game's debut back in March.

There's nothing to suggest that the game didn't begin development in late 2015. If it did, it can only help Ashley's chances. If it didn't, 2015 was already a pretty good year for Ashley, so no worries.

Sa after just unlocking the pumpkin minigame, I can confirm that the badges pics are part of the galery mode of said minigame but cannot be used as anything but collectables.

As for the minigame, it's pretty good, it's like some weird combination of Tower Defense & Bowling, I won't play it as much as Pyoro but I'll definetly play a lot of it, well, after I manage to unlock Ashley's theme in english anyway.
