I just booked the room. Was gonna ask people starting today. If I didn't get enough people by january I would've just un-booked the room.

Was planning on asking Seb, CK, YO, Voodoo and Skins specifically(since we all roomed for Otakon) but I dunno who is actually going to be interested in rooming up for this.

I'm not too fond of a ton of dudes in one room either. I wanna cap it off at like 6 at the most since it is a fairly large room. Its a single king bedroom since the twin bedrooms were all sold out.

I got home with no problems. Slept until 8ish and took off from there no problems. But thanks for the concern .

Just imagine if you drank that sweet tea vodka though Laijin. Good thing we ended up backing out of it.

I've never been to a Magfest before. I just have a vague idea that it involves video game music, but know little else on what it is.

It sounds like it could be fun, but I'm curious as to a more detailed explaination on what it is.

AFAIK, it's just like Otakon but with the emphasis on video game music rather than anime.

I'll be at magfest for just the one day Friday this year. I can promise that if you haven't been before th you will have a blast. They have tons of old consoles setup for classic games, even had an intellevision last year. Ktar has grown to national scale so I need to support my boi keitaro on the Saturday.

Edit: Depending on how many people are interested in going to Magfest, it maybe easier for Waffles to go ahead and get a room as well. Then we can just divide everyone up. haha. I still have not heard back from YO or CK, but I believe their interested as well as ~rh

Yeah just go ahead and book a seperate room, and we can go ahead and divide it from there. If we go straight down the middle (including Yo and CK), that's 5 people in one room and 4 people in another, which seems pretty reasonable from what both of you are looking for.

Booking is a room is FREE.
As long as you cancel 2 days before the day you have to check in. You don't pay a dime until then. So literally anyone with a card can book a room.

So anyone else can feel free to book a room. I'm sure we'll be able to divide up the rooms pretty well.
