Regarding the rainbow-colored cocktail @Thunderhorse+ wanted:

You might be disappointed. It isn't a layered drink, but rather an illusion of one. Nonetheless, it might be delic anyway:

1 Vodka
1 St. Germain Liqueur
4 Dashes Bitters
4 Soda
Garnish with lemon peel

That said, the ingredients are common, and it's an easy drink to make, though it does require preparation.

This will not be something you can ever special-order in a bar or nite club (i.e., if they don't have it as a house-special). No such place will have readily available ice cubes in all colors.

I can make this next time.

omg that drink was actually inspired by the Double Rainbow video? HAHAHAHA that's awesome!

Laijin, we didn't end up going to the ULTRABAR. We got back pretty late, so we just went to a bar in Bethesda instead.

ULTRABAR is definately a possibility for MLG weekend though. I'm not sure if you're going there or not, but you're welcome to come with/meet us there if you feel so inclined Laijin.

Also Dizastix I'll take you up on that offer. Just knowing it was inspired by Double Rainbow just makes me even more hyped for it.

Why enter? It's free to spectate. Not that anyone would actually watch Brawl. So maybe it'd make more sense to say it's free to loiter.

Screw ultrabar.

What's DiZASTiX doing?

He and Heather (Lindsey) are pranking someone, saying that she's dead.

Question for the Audience:
Is it ever okay to say someone is dead or gravely ill as a prank?

Edit -- Note that in the final version, I said that Heather was in a coma instead, because it sounded more plausible.

Answer: neither. It is neither ok nor not ok, but simply a lie. And whether a lie is wrong or not all comes down to perspective of the lie and it's context.

If you're looking for someone to panic, im sure youll get what you're looking for.

Nah, I saw the convo, the guy being pranked didn't believe it for a second and just got mad at Jason for lying about it.

That wasn't the idea. I originally was trying to ask him something else. He misconstrued the question, which opened the door for a sarcastic remark -- one thing led to another, and next thing you know, I said she's in a coma.

Panic? I wasn't trying to start panic. I was doing what fraternities do best: causing mass-confusion. By alternating between my account and Heather's account, I have been able to shake him violently, and make him unsure of his allies. At the same time, I am playing all sorts of mind games.

Don't you kids play mind games all the time? Oh, you say what you do is but a video game. Well, this is a game too.

Me: "Let's play a game."
Steeve: "**** you!"
Me: "All your life you've been ..."
(You know, the thing from Saw.)

Is a lie okay?

Isn't it all fun and games from my perspective?

You did mention perspective.

Nah, I saw the convo, the guy being pranked didn't believe it for a second and just got mad at Jason for lying about it.
Actually not everyone agrees with that interpretation.

However, it didn't matter if he believed me or not. Either way, I get the outcome I want.

Well then I suppose you succeeded. Of course, from your perspective, the only way you fail is if confusion or chaos is not implemented, which is why there is always a Plan B.

You can grab those ones over the weekend. Should have the rest of the tournament matches and some curbstomping courtesy of your favorite blue trollhog. Also some good showing off of Yoshi and Boozer.

Speaking of, are you and Waffle coming Thursday or Friday? I know these big events tend to be 3 days long, but it'd be good to know so that if it's the former, I can go ahead and take off work that day.

I'M IN THERE.

Still not sure about Sunday, but I can make it Friday and Saturday now. :)

I can take the bus to D.C Friday morning, though apparently it's a 2-hour ride on the Metro from my Bus Destination (700 10th St, NW) to the MLG Venue. So I guess we can meet there.

Is the housing offer still on the table, TH?

So I made an interesting discovery during practice today.

You know that Homing Attack that was supposed to be fixed by not being able to cancel the HA start-up by pressing B?

It's not fixed :)

Also I can still double shine glitch XDDDDDDDDDD

No one comes through your way ever. Maybe someone coming down from NJ or Philly, but you aren't on the way for anyone in MD.

So, TH, hear those Chilean miners got rescued? We should celebrate. THEY'RE HEROES!!! From Chile!

Waffle, I'll come back on Sunday morning so you can watch the game with your family. I found someone in Westminster to go to BWW with me.

We wanted to go, but haven't done so yet.

Also Guru where are you at? I need to talk to you ASAP!

Also it seems FNB likes Sonic dittos almost as much as I do :). They should play PM with us some time.

:super sadface:
See you at ROM3 maybe?

Reminder to the guys who are going: Bring DQ9. Canvassing + staying awake through all the Brawl matches. It's necessary.

TH, you wanna just meet at your house tomorrow afternoon and ride over together?

Some of us can just visit the SC2 camp to meet their super bejujeler (????) hero or see if there are BlazBlue or Guilty Gear events. If worst comes to worst...I guess there's always SSF4. They have to be running that ****.

But yeah I want to get alot of DQ9 in. It's been forever since I played it. Wanna rock it low tier style.

Meeting up at my place is good, but I'm everlasting sadfacing over Guru not coming. Tell your coworker to stop being a ***** :(.

Good thing when shifts are taken at my work, you have to sign a document. My replacement tried to bail on me today too, but she's bound by what she signed, and I can't...well wasn't able to work the part that she wanted me to at the time >: ). Good thing I made sure to do that, cause she's pretty notorious about being unreliable.

I guess you guys will be here at around 3ish accounting for lunch?
