The plan is BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT MOTHAFUKA! Allllllllll week.

Hazama is REALLY weird as **** though. Even though I've only played for 20 minutes, I can't seem to wrap my head around more than 5C -> 3C -> 214D~C -> 5C -> 2C -> 4D~A -> 4D. I drop the combo around there because I usually pull myself up with the D chain follow up too fast, or I press C too early anticipating J5C x 5 air combo, resulting in a C chain follow up and 1 J5C before they tech out . His timing for fully charged 214D~C follow up after Jayakou or 3C knockdown is stupidly strict.

He really lives up to his Difficult but Awesome title.

Sounds like a good plan! I like the part where DQ9 is involved.

I might just take some time off from super grinding to mess around with alchemy. I've reached the point in the game where there is the last real item shop (there are still a number of towns and dungeons afterward, but none of them have proper weapon/armor shops), so if I want better stuff, I'm going to have to end up alchemizing better weaponry and armor since I can't buy better.

Btw I only had to progress through one dungeon since the last time you were in my world to get to that last weapon/armor shop, so I haven't really done much since then

Now this is where investing in a thief is really gonna pay off .

I know we have the room in the car. And free always sounds good. But I'm guessing it would mean we would have to go up early Friday morning and come home late Sunday night.

As much as I'd love to do that, it's highly unlikely I can get my early morning Friday AND my late night Sunday shifts covered. And that's really alot of money lost. Maybe we can take him one way there and someone else can take him the next leg of the way back for reduced housing? Just throwing that idea out there.

Just thought I'd throw it out there but I am going tonight to look at a house I may very well put a bid in for. The first house I put a bid in for (a few weeks ago) didn't work out, but a new one has popped up that has piqued my interest.

btw, once you get the magic key, be sure to go back through all the old towns and look for those purple doors. You can get some goooood loot. <3 Spiked Armor.

I have to say, watching soccer is almost golf level.

Dq9 sounds like a blast. Is it easy to play if you've never played dq before? Is it an intensive rpg or more like pokemon? From what i know of dq i remember it being very earthboundish in battle.

As someone who had never played a DQ game before this one, it was pretty easy to get a good grasp on the system. Like Pokemon, you do require a bit of forethought when it comes to constructing a team, but the team system is extremely flexible (to the point where I could play my thief as a warrior without too much strain. At this point my Thief vocation and my Ranger vocation may as well be the same thing on my hero). Obviously some vocations don't play nice with one another (it would be silly to make my Mage a Gladiator, or my Thief an Armamentalist), but it's a pretty open-ended class system.

I couldn't say whether it's Earthboundish though. I've never played a Mother game.


On another note, I just found out about team coup de graces. The Thief shares one with the Armamentalist, so me and Waffle can team attack together .

Paladin teams with Priest iirc, so you'd better hope Tant or Kaiser will be a Priest JCz .

lol not necessary.....My comp isn't top notch anymore (was like 3 years ago) but I can still manage to run the game on High settings....I just need more RAM and upgrade to Windows 7 so I can use DX10 graphics
