Entering tournaments at Magfest is definitely something I won't be doing. The only one I would even remotely consider is Melee. I don't play anything competitively outside of the Smash series. And it's so not why I'm going. There are too many other things to do there.

So I'm gonna go to work on Thursday. TH, do you work on Thursday? I'd like to go to your house after work (probably 4:30-5ish, but I can come later if need be) and we can grab dinner or something and go to Magfest, and meet up with Tant and Waffle when they get there (and whoever else is coming Thursday night). After that, I was thinking since we now have more people in the room and I really don't wanna sleep on the floor, maybe I could just crash at TH's house. As long as we don't have to leave too early. I don't wanna miss anything.

You're always welcome to crash at my place :D. Not to mention it won't cost you a penny unlike the hotel room :p.

I'm completely free on Thursday too, so we can go ahead and grab a bite to eat as soon as you're off work and meet everyone else at Magfest. There is one little snag though: I have to take the car in to work on Friday, and my parents leave for work even earlier than I do, and neither of us come back before 4. We'll have to take separate cars on Friday in the event that there's a concert going on before 5, or you can crash in the hotel room for Thursday night and I can meet you guys there after work and drive you back home Friday night if you don't feel like Penny's up to the drive and/or your wallet's not up to the parking fees. Your call whatever you want to do, but that should be the only issue and it seems easily resolvable.

You're free all day Thursday? When do you get off work Wednesday? :D I still have a bajillion vacation days, so I could come over Wednesday after work and we could just hang all day Thursday. I could educate you on the bands we're gonna see. If that's cool with you of course.

I get off Wednesday at 3, but I work out until 4 immediately after my shift, and I need a little time to clean myself up and whatnot afterwords, so I'd be completely free at around 5ish.

Sounds like a plan to me though :coolshades:

Hey guys. Change of Magfest plans. Right before I was gonna cancel my room, Sypher contacted me and asked me to keep the room. So I did and now I have 4 people in the room and hopefully getting two more to cut the room costs.

so pretty much, tl;dr. I will no longer be in Waffle's room.

So you have 4-6 people in your room (you, Sypher, and whoever else you two might get, two confirmed and two maybes).

Waffle has 3 people (himself, Tant, and their friend from high school)

and JCz and I are going to be crashing at my place.

Not sure if Waffle will like cutting costs between just 3 people, but I'll let him speak for himself on the matter.

Thats fine, Nick, Nate and I can all cover costs pretty easily.

JCaesar, can you bring Twilight princess with you to Magfest? I need to hack another wii. It's going to be a carbon copy of my existing wii basically that will stay home and I play single player games on it, while the other one will travel when I go out. I'm worried that mine is going to break.

Laijin I can safely say Nate won't be OK with having someone he doesn't know in the room. We're coming for a vacation with good friends, not some random people. We don't mind hanging out with new faces but rooming is different. If Coney doesn't go to KTAR, I might see if we can have him join our room.

So change of plans...AGAIN.
I'm 100% confirmed to be in waffle's room now. The guys who were gonna be in my room didn't pre-register in time...so they can't go now. So I'm cancelling my room today and will be in Waffle's room.

Which brings me to my next point..
