I've heard Rare Candy, Entertainment System, and This Place is Haunted. They're all pretty legit, though there's a reason they aren't as well-known as bigger bands like Armcannon, Powerglove, and Minibosses. They just don't quite have what it takes to get to that level.
Powerglove was great at first, but honestly I've gotten a little bored of them. Maybe I listened to them too much. Same goes for Minibosses. Armcannon however, wow, their overall sound is so good! And the Megas are amazing as well. Metroid Metal I'm really looking forward too also. Well, I'm looking forward to everyone. I've never been to a video game music concert, but I've been to at least a dozen rock concerts, and hearing them live is a completely different experience.
I really hope I run into a bunch of like OC Remixers and stuff too.
Here are the challenges Tant:

I haven't played a lot of these games, but here are the ones I think I have a legit shot of beating (not counting ones from games I haven't really played):
**** it won't let me highlight...
Well, these games' challenges:
Gunstar Heroes (beat Orange, no shooting)
SMB2 (beat Clawgrip with Luigi) <- super easy
SMB3 (beat Lemmy's airship with Hammer suit)
Zelda 3 (beat Mothula, sword only)
Contra (beat last level with Fireball) <- super easy
Hmmm I think that's all. I'd really like to try the Mega Man X one, but I don't think I can beat Vile with no upgrades.
PI can't say enough towards the decision to go to MAGfest instead of a tournament. My true competitive days are behind me, I think, not the spirit, so to speak, but just the time spent focusing on it.
I can't agree with you there. I've been dying to participate in a real tournament. I can't wait for Project M's public release so I can play a serious competitive game again.
