Im not really sure why you would think Ambrose should be considered 1/2nd. At most, he would be 3rd on the PR at this point, but it will be a close call between him and Percon.

I dont know why you are weighing the LBT tournament so high. Not only is it NOT the most recent tournament, but it was a tournament that was missing 2 of GTAN'S best players (Percon and myself).

True, but you can't disregard the fact that he placed very high in a tournament with some very strong competition. That's gotta count for something somewhere lol.

I'm looking forward to the March 1st tourny. Hopefully it will accurately show where the GTAN smashers stand with each other, and not a bunch of certain Montrealers/Americans

in time we shuld do one big as round robbin kinda deal where everyone gets to play everyone, just to see who can beat who. i Think the idea of having a gigantic pool and haveing the same point system aswell, would be a good idea to look at for pr rankings of that sort. It shows who is the overall better player. no johns

While Ambrose and Kingace were not present for the discussion their lists were highly similar to the final list so we assumed they would have no objections, if I'm wrong they'll certainly tell me, but I doubt I will be.

I don't play Brawl, but I follow this list and ****. Ace's performance @ LBT should be excused anyway since from what I remember (meaning it should be weighed very lightly), there was a lack of players that attended there anyway. I think that's the only tournament where he showed SOME inconsistency. But Niko <3 you should be the last person on his nuts about that lol (but if you're trolling then lawlz).


I think Ambrose vs J.L is too close to measure but I think it makes perfect sense after Julian's good performance @ OiN4 (which I assume/should had some huge weight in the tournament result weighing, and btw good **** Julian). 10 spot looks iffy, but that's ALWAYS hard to pick out #10 since it cuts off the runner up completely.


I read through the last couple of pages and lawl @ the TPR vs this PR stuff, lawl @ the 9/11 attack that some people recieved, and good **** Mikey and Ace. Rep Saugaaa. I dont care what game you guys play.

GTAN is lazy as **** and doesn't run tournaments besides Myself and once Max..... It's really annoying and I hate to be the one to have to keep the scene alive. It's rather annoying to do all thew work and then be responsible in housing 7+ people.

I know what you mean, there are a few certain individuals who basically were the sole cause of this scene becoming so great and having quality players.

But yeah, this summer (may ish probably) I'm thinking I'll host a tournament in T.O, even though I basically cohost and co-run every tournament I attend I still didn't get any "best host" nominations.... So its about time Minus threw a tournament.

Edit: Because I'm an insomniac and I was just thinking about it, as far as the brawl scene goes, I would say these individuals contributed the most to the history and how things became the way they are now:

I feel your pain! People bug me about having more ToSes a lot, but most of those people wouldn't have the energy/motivation to do it themselves. I also usually don't get much help for housing. When you run a tourney or two, people think you are going to keep doing it forever...

Agreed. Niagara fails in general but I try to keep things alive with weeklies and **** also I do offer housing it's just that people didn't take it. I think the main problem is that too many of us want to play only melee.........and were bad with rides lol
