@Kel: I think that all of those pumpkins are awesome. If you have an outline on your pumpkin, it's then just a matter of cutting on the lines. I carved an Eva pumpkin last year! ^__^

i'm trying to decide which one character to stick with though, at the advice of hilt...though I'd really like to stick to two characters it's starting to look like a wiser decision to stick with one for now. what do you guys think?

****... I was finally going to be able to start going to some again too...

I was looking forward to seeing how much you improved and handing you my money after our long-delayed MM (I have no doubt that you would win if we were to play now ).

As for how many to stick with... that's hard to say. Having 2 helps with matchups, but focusing on one at a time helps improve faster... I suggest focusing on the one you want to use the most first, then once you feel ready to, work on your second one exclusively until you feel ready to keep with both.
Did that make any sense?

Yeah! I think it's a good idea to stick with one to focus on and learn a lot/practice! But it's good to have two just in case your first one has a bad match-up. Plus, it's fun to play something different every now and then. But I agree with focusing on one at the moment, maybe even try fighting the bad match-ups and see how that goes! I hope you will be able to Smash again, though!!

Hi everybody.

@Clowsui, I know there are better people to answer your question than me, Clowsui, but I think you should go with a character that you 1)have a lot of faith in and can trust, or 2)you know is statistically shown to be a good character (I'm not supporting tiers with this statement..). I think there is a "limit" to who people should choose to main, I mean SURE, choosing metaknight is SO unoriginal and SO cliche, but why do so many people choose to main with that character? I'm most definitely not saying to go with MK by any means, but I think you should do research and find a character who you think you'd win matches with. To be honest, I main with Pit right now, and even tho I am not the most fond of the character, I've found methods and strategies that work well with him and my playing style. Then I just chose Snake as a back up, that seems fairly safe of a choice. BUT if I had to say for a character in particular, why isn't Marth an option? I mean, you already have experience with the character, right? Are you not using Marth anymore? If not Marth, maybe Falco (like Day said), Captain Falcon, or possibly pikachu? I think you'd do well with faster characters that have offense. Thats just my personal opinion, tho.

usually i end up working on one at a time anyways and then i bring the other up to speed, i just usually pick the one i DIDN'T play as often in tourney for some reason -__-

@ Clowsui: from what ive played your marth gives me more of a match than your falco but im pretty sure thats just cause im sooooo used to fighting falco's as diddy. My vote is for marth but i dont play u that often so idk who your better with between the two.

About an hour north from Cincy. Or, at least, it took an hour for me to get to Arcade Legends. Still, not a bad drive at all. Scribz and Brandon from Dayton may be here. Just figured I'd let you guys know, in case you don't have anything planned for Sunday.

My main issue isn't really an issue, lol. The character that I have fun with is trash, so I stopped playing him lol. Now I use an assortment of non-garbage characters that I can't choose between. I haven't used them against real, good opponents yet, which I suppose is one reason I would <3 you all forever if you CAME UP ON SUNDAY. :D
