What was the funniest games that you ever played?

Explain why those games that you think is funny.

For example, you think Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe was funny, because you said that Mortal Kombat fighters faced off against the Super Heroes and Super Villains from DC Comics.

Super Paper Mario and Super Smash Bros.

Banjo Kazooie also had it's humorous moments.

Super Paper Mario because the text sometimes makes you want to crack up. The characters just make yah laugh I guess.

SSB when you're playing with a friend, especially with items. I gets lots of lulz every now and then out of fights.

And Banjo Kazooie as a kid because the Boggles the mole.

The Penny Arcade Adventures games. The game features cutscenes drawn and animated by Gabe and Tycho and the sense of humor is right from the comics. Surprisingly the games are a lot of fun on top of that.

The Mario & Luigi games. Fawful alone is enough of a reason to play the game solely for its humor. Why oh why didn't Fawful make it into Brawl?

And Conker's Bad Fur Day. An excellent platforming game that parodies a bunch of movies and doesn't fall flat on its face. It's really odd to think how terrible movie-movie parodies (Scary/Disaster/Epic Movie, Meet the Spartans, etc), but how great this game was. I'd love to see a sequel on the 360.

I think is Crash Tag Team Racing that I just played, because I like the funny scenes where I got it unlocked while I explore around the area that is about Crash commit a suicide, Crash pranks the guys wearing a gas mask, and the funniest of all it's about Crash give the poison apple to the gas mask guy, and then he eats it, then suddenly, he has to use the restroom. Pretty funny, huh?

Any Mario RPG. Well, except for maybe Legend of the Seven Stars, but even that had its funny moments.

Super Paper Mario's date scene was brilliant.
I remember that Gex Deep Cover Gecko was funny, and Valhalla and the Lord of Infinity's third level with the potions that made your voice deep or squeaky.

Paper Mario TTYD had me laughing a ton, there was a joke at ever turn, especially Luigi, listening to Luigi's story in TTYD was pure funny. Which is precisely why they need to make Paper Luigi. A turn based Luigi RPG!

Greatest scene ever. I could care less about that entire level, I just love the Swoon.exe (AKA Talk Nerdy to me) part.

Every mario RPG is hilarious. You got Faful in M&L, Baby Luigi's "Is it alive?" test, Bowser's witty remarks throughout SPM, etc.

Edit: Forgot the "1337" bros.

Oh man, Super Paper Mario had some hilarious moments. It was probably the best thing about the game. I could not stop laughing after Fracktail's pre-fight monologue.

I also liked the humor in No More Heroes, particularly the boss battles. Travis realizing where his money is going before facing Dr. Peace, the Letz Shake "fight", the Speed Buster opening, Bad Girl batting gimps at you, and all the 4th wall breaking stuff at the very end. I don't think I even need to mention Destroyman, he's just Too Awesome.

Basically all the Mario RPG games (With the exception of PiT) and Conker's bad fur day.
Said that Fawful only appeared in SS and a cameo in Pit, he was a great character.

Psychonauts. Once you got through some of the more mundane levels early on you hit some really really funny and clever stuff. The milkman conspiracy level in particular had me in tears.

Phoenix Wright series. I'm surprised these didn't come up immediately. Genuinely funny dialog and characters. Phoenix in particular is hilarious.

Get on Da Mic (battle rapping microphone game for ps2). Battle rapping is a hilarious thing when done very well and when done very badly. We made it the latter. Nothing funnier after a few (a few too many) beers. If I ever play it on my own I want someone to punch me.

Battlefield 2. Griefing for epic lulz.

Agreed.
The bit with Fred Bonaparte was funny as well.

I forgot about the Monkey Island games, those are extremely funny.

Earthworm Jim 3D. A lot of people say it sucks, but...

It's funny because of all the random stuff, like alien chefs, herding old ladies, Professor Monkey-for-a-Head, refrigerators randomly falling on characters, and zombies doing the disco.

Totally agreed. Really funny over the top characters.

When I saw the thread though the first games I thought were the Monkey Island series. They have the funniest dialogues i have ever seen in a game period.

Psychonauts for me too. It has a very Invader Zim feel to it which isn't really surprising when you consider who made it. Anyway, it has some very clever and funny ideas in there.

No Ratchet & Clank mentions? Jeez, I'm surprised, those games are hilarious.

Super Smash Bros. is always funny just because exploding capsules always seem to spawn in front of my friend whenever he's charging a smash.

Also, Tales of Symphonia, but that's unintentional. The dialouge is so cheesy its hilarious.

Crash Bandicoot huh..? well not really funny, just comical.

But Paper Mario & The Thousand Year Door sure had some funny moments,, also some of the old grunts and fatalities from the orginal Mortal Kombat games were also very funny.

The Mario RPGs were always humorous, yes, as well as the Metal Gear series, but the Mother series is the best. I mean in Mother 3 you listen to Pig Masks debating whether they should go to the bathroom with or without their masks on, and each is surprised by what the other one does. I mean, HOW AMAZING IS THAT!?!?!?

Super Mario RPG was a hoot with its lighthearted quirky characters.
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, same thing! You fight an opera singing Piranha plant as a boss!? XD

Best one though, Conkers Bad Fur Day. That takes it all.

Conker`s Bad Fur Day - The Great Mighty Poo Song

Rachet & Clank: Going Commando - Majority of the cut scenes were pretty funny.

Super Paper Mario/ The Thousand Year Door - The text and expressions on peoples faces.

Mario Galaxy - Saving Luigi as Luigi.
