Your down 3-1 its tournament. The light are on the cameras are flashing the crowds going crazy. Which character do you want to be playing in this moment?

For me no order really

Really depends on the matchup imo; some characters have the potential to punish & bully certain matchups far more than others once they start going. Like as an example (even though not the best), a Peach could get a strong comeback going vs somebody like falco more than they could against a character like sheik/marth.

i agree with king

ive gotten a lot of comebacks with falco vs fastfallers and very comboable characters, but vs peach its almost impossible

really though almost any character but samus has pretty high 0-death possibilities so long as youre dealing with the upper half of the cast

Try to use the character you are best with, preferably higher tier, and just try to realize what mistakes you have been making and play defensively if possible.

King is right.

fox is nice but you arent going to be gimping samus/peach/puff so coming back vs those 3 would be harder

You should also try to space well, and use mindgames! Try not to be predictable, and finally, don't suck!

Seriously though,

Mm... I think if I had the choice of mains.... I think Falcon. I hate playing last stock with Falcon, his manly presence puts so much pressure on me. It doesn't help that I still have PTSD from a tournament match against SS.

imo

falcon is a comeback character

if you get momentum to swing in your direction

you can take a stock with 3 grabs

My marth seems to always make comebacks. If I'm down a stock vs a spacey, I just go for a gay gimp/dair.

I honestly think that characters don't matter when making comebacks. It's all about momentum and screwing with the other guy's head.
IMHO stage doesn't matter nor does your opponent playing against. to make a comback try you're hardest!

Top 3

1. Sheik
2. Puff
3. Marth

When the lights are on and 20-300 people are screaming your nerves will be shaken alot. In this situation the characters that are simple and good characters have the best chance. Shffling with spacies for instance are great characters however doing extremely technical and fast moves while being nervous and having shaky hands is extremely hard to do. Sheik on the other hand I can play when I'm completely drunk or nervous almost the exact same way. Just grab and Dthrow or hit someone with a tilt or a dsmash. It's all done for you almost. Puff is the same way all you have to do is find a way to press downB in the right place or gimp them off the edge with Bairs. Marth is slightly more effort to play but when your nervous just wait and it's easier. However if you start doing nervous Fsmashes your gonna get *****. Everyone else is underneath these 3.

Marth does have many ways to turn things around, especially when you take into account his grab game, and his sweet-spotted attacks. He does lack indirect moves, but his long range does make up for that weakness.

Fox
falco
marth
people would put puff but its not easy coming back with her at most points
