Yeah our Brawl scene is the same way.
We go to IHOP or Denny's after a tournament.
Usually we go out and all hang out and do things non-Brawl related.
We also get drunk and discuss important life issues.

Are you now just noticing my presence to notice that avatar lol But it is. Too bad I cannot figure out how to play it very well.

And yes, you can change the announcer voice. There was a "female announcer" done earlier this summer that I just remembered about. I was going to give it a try and maybe another one to see if it was any good. Although, changing this is not as intuitive as texture hacking or nearly as easy to find a guide for. I'm trying to search through likely sound files to see if I can find anything similar to the files I got, but no luck.

Meh, there's not really Brawl scene near where I am Atm I'm literally down to 2 regulars now and I'm too paranoid of what friends and particularly family would think of me if I did go to a tourney/dedicated Brawl scene (although it's not that big over here iirc). I'd need to to go something I could go to and get back real quick
It is completely my fault however because I'm sure if I actually tried hard enough I could get something going or go to something, regardless of how small it was. I almost went to something and then didn't in the end so yea

Real life gets in the way too much as well


Besides (and this is the real killer for me), even if I did go to some kind of Brawl scene - what's the point? My desire is to help further Peach's metagame and improve both her and people's opinion of her and it doesn't matter how good I may or may not be - I am completely limited in that I can't do either of those things over here

in sf, even if the mex isn't great... the asian (and especially japanese) food is GODLIKE. most times when i get good sushi, i have to close my eyes and chew slowly because i can't believe what's in my mouth

@Xeylode - That's not a bad idea actually. I know there's a LAN PC gaming society but as for console gaming...I'm not sure. I should try there first

Although if they're PC gamers I would expect shooters/RPG's to be the genre of games they play...still worth a try I guess
