Well, my college started with me being the only devoted brawl player. The rest were melee guys. For the first 3-4 months we played at one guys place weekly from like 6pm until midnight while getting food and stuff out during that time. Eventually he left, but we still had the same group until we decided to become a student organization. After that we kept trying to get the name of our group out to other gaming events and find a place to set-up tournaments. We since then have gotten bigger and more people in the surrounding area have popped up. Come this fall we'll have what looks like the first large tournament the area has seen for quite sometime. Getting some out of state interest for both 64, melee and brawl. I expect the following year is going to be pretty outstanding.@Xeylode - That's not a bad idea actually. I know there's a LAN PC gaming society but as for console gaming...I'm not sure. I should try there first
Although if they're PC gamers I would expect shooters/RPG's to be the genre of games they play...still worth a try I guess
That's the only think that makes him attractive.
