The discovery channel used to be so raunchy. I couldn't flip past that channel without seeing some animal mounting another animal and pounding away...
Hopefully they've toned that down a bit. Oh yeah, and the birth scenes kinda ruined my day as well.

My mother tells me that I'm a good cook, but I only know how to make a few things. I mean, I guess I could do more if I looked up recipes and stuff, but it seems a lot of those recipes require some strange ingredient(s) that I don't happen to have lying around.

last time I made beef stew, I followed Ina's Recipe:

though, if memory serves, I used extra beef broth..... and I used the version in her cookbook, not the one online (the cookbook is, of course, better)

You basically need:

Beef
Broth
Red Wine
Bay Leaves
Flour


Then it's just spices and other ingredients for the stew to fit your taste

Guys, I'm officially done with Peach.

I've come to the realization that all this game is (in America at least) is chasing your opponent or running from your opponent. Of course there are a few exceptions to this rule (Chaingrabs, Aura, Tippers, MK etc) but at the end of the day if all you have is a ****ing turnip, you aren't going anywhere. All I did this past weekend was chase people and **** them when they decided to fight back (2 Stock Denti on a neutral), or I got ***** when they ran from me on a stage where I couldn't reach them or they just threw something at me (Delfino, RC, etc). Also, I did try new things and I really wasn't playing too monotonous (I finally beat Dphat after like 14 attempts). I may stick with Peach for Metaknight or characters that I really know the matchup with, but from now on I'm just going to pick Wario because he has more killing options and he can just camp for a free kill if someone wants to **** with me, plus my Wario is getting really good at the moment. I feel as though Peach is just holding me back as a player whereas a higher tier character wouldn't.

Kyle, you're really good with Peach and I want to see what you can do so keep it up.

lol You are looking up online for advice. Besides, define cooking. Real cooking in my opinion is being able to make a good tasting meal without having to look up a recipe. I just feel like anyone can follow a recipe if the instructions are detailed enough. What makes it real cooking is having the knowledge of what different ingredients do for a meal or what flavors you get out of it.

If we truly want to move on to bigger and better things, we must place our faith/abilities into characters who are more capable of achieving them. Good luck with your Wario Ill, I'll meet you far into a national tournament bracket one day with my Marth/MK. Count on it.

I may pick Peach here and there for counter-picking options or a matchup I really understand (Pikachu for example), but Peach as a character isn't going anywhere. You can be as flashy as you want, have the best out of shield game in the world, but if you are smart - you still won't be getting that kill. Besides up-smash she doesn't have any huge punish move. That's what any character needs to consistently win tournaments.

Life your lyfe Illmatic. <3 I do believe I have said once before but quite a while ago that Peach Mains need to have 1 extra character to win a national. Glad to see others agree to this sad truth. Yet still I keep playing Solo Peach lol.

I wish you guys had said something about that food before I went to the store and wasted 45 minutes in it looking for beef stock. I decided to just fry fish instead and call it a night. I actually never fried fish before so I called my dad for advice...... (Even though I havent called him in like.. 3 months...) he sounded excited that I asked him... which made me feel great.

True as that may be, even a "Real cook" needs to look up recipes for things they have never made before to get an IDEA of what to do. The true Chefs (as a profession) just already know where to start on most things, but you can be a "real cook" and still need a recipe as a starting point if you are unfamiliar with a dish.

And baking . . .. you can't improvise ingredients there. That's gotta be pretty exact for certain things.

Not the point. She been had all that. Yet look at how long it took for someone to actually think outside the box and just do work.

Yet three years with this is its all "oh man, I have tried everything (no you did not), Peach just can't do it, I give up"

You can think this all you want. But I am not gonna be in the same boat as you and the others. You have Ike,Ness and sonic doing more work then Peach, and she has better match ups and options then those three. There is no excuse.

I prefer brawl peach to melee peach tbh. She feels more "fun", even if it's harder for me to win with her. Nothing beats massacring (sp?) everyone around with you with melee peach's d-smash, though. Her f-throw was hilarious too. xD
