I only played one wifi match today and I used Peach game 1, Diddy round 2, and ROB round 3. I only lost with Peach. I barely even play Diddy and I won. :/

Peach is tough to play online. I was trying to use only her, but I got 2 stocked, so I switched to Diddy when he switched from Wolf to Snake.
People think she's so easy to use because she has turnips and dair lol. Maybe I should use her dair more. ;-;
I'm willing to help any of you guys.
I have a lot of characters and I can give help on in wifi.
Oh, that would be great!
We don't hate jiggs. In fact shes my most beloved low tier~!
It's just she so bad, its amusing. C:
Loool, it's just so humiliating to lose to her. I think she's really fun to use though. I love how fast she is in the air. Didn't peach have a faster air speed in melee? When she was floating I mean.

Oh, btw guys, I'm so proud of myself! The other day I beat a Snake that was destroying me before. He said to me that it's basically an instant loss for Peach on halberd vs Snake. I took him to halberd (I got destroyed the first time LOL). I kept going there until I won. And I actually started winning afterwards too. Is it a good idea to go to a stage that's really bad for Peach vs (whatever character) to learn the MU? I've always avoided the most horrible stages. It just seemed much easier to brawl on more balanced stages once I found out the strengths he had and learned how to deal with them on halberd.
I've devised a strategy for how to deal with Snakes (in a reasonable connection) that may transfer to offline matches (when I start playing offline lol) just from that one time on halberd.
I wanna brawl more Snakes to test it out more thoroughly.

Heh I like Halberd for peach vs snake. Sure he kills early but we can to. That middle platform before you land on the ship is like..... control God land for peach. Its so amazing.

I would agree, for the solid part at least. The part where there aren't stage hazards makes it difficult to get back on stage since you can't airdodge or Fair back onto stage.

There are around 6 billion human beings on Earth.

Each and every one of them like Lady Gaga more than I do.

I like characters that are hard to use or require a lot of work and patience to use. To me it is more rewarding to myself. I love the challenge. I never could get into using character that are easy to learn and use.

I mean, yeah, if I really wanted to, I could just spam dair and turnips all day, but that doesn't help me learn what works and what doesn't against characters, that's just abusing wifi tactics. I'm using it to learn MU's and improve as a player.

How good is Born this Way? Right now I'm not really interested.

The Fame Monster was at decent B, The Fame is a meh C.

Ha!
The Fame Monster probably had better songs on average, but Born This Way has MORE songs and they are almost all pretty good (some are quite good)

It's pretty consistant with Gaga's ability to pump out good songs though. I mean even the worst songs on the album are still quite listenable. It's kinda taken the same path that The Fame Monster did relative to The Fame though in making her songs, on average, a bit more "out there" kinda in a more artistic direction than the more pop-friendly The Fame album. Also a lot of the songs can grow on you.

I'd recomend it pretty highly, especially if you liked The Fame Monster better than The Fame because I would say this album is more similar to the latter rather than the former.
(Though I would say no song on the album is as good as "Just Dance" or "Bad Romance" It's more an ensemble piece. A lot of good songs but no real standouts... depending on taste, of course. I mean if you were just YEARNING for Gaga to sing a song in spanish or German then your dreams will have come true on this album)

If you know what Metacritic is (it's an agregate source of critiques and ratings for widespread artistic media) they have Born This Way bing just as good on average as The Fame and The Fame Monster.

You're entitled to your opinion, of course, but the opinion of the world at large is that it's every bit as strong as Gaga's other offerings.

Born This Way is decent.
It has an interesting mix of songs. It's not anywhere near the disappointment that is Femme Fatale.
Being a good album is about having depth, not necessarily about having an amazing song.

"'Till The World Ends" is honestly probably better than any single song on Born This Way, but born this way has a lot more bredth as an album. It really doesn't have any truly bad songs on it.

Along with My Chemical Romance's The Black Parade, Faith Hill's Cry and Christina Aguilera's Back to Basics , it's one of the few non-greatest-hits albums that I can pretty much listen straight through without wanting to skip more than a song or two.

I guess there are a few spanish albums that fit in that category too like Limon y Sal by Julieta Venegas, Sin Frenos by La Quinta Estacion and La Vida Es Un Ratico by Juanes

(I highly recomend ALL the albums I just listed)

I've just kinda lost interest in the Gaga sound in general. There's a whole backlog of Madonna and Goldfrapp if I wanna hear electro dance pop. Born this Way, the song, is eh, Judas is eh. Edge of Glory is kinda cool, but not really new.

I think that's it, she just sounds bland to me now.

Other than one or two choice songs, I've never thought Gaga sounded like Madona, honestly. Then again, I don't particularly like madona's songs much . . . not very talented vocally and however good an entertainer she MAY have been in her day is overshadowed in my eyes by how irrelevant she is today.

Goldfrapp's not bad though.... doesn't sound much like gaga to me though. Same genre, of course, just.... different sound.

Anyway it sounds like you might not want to rush out and buy the album itself..... but the digital album is (or at least was) 99¢ on amazon.com so.... probably worth at least dropping a buck for it

edit: oops must've been a promotional 1-day deal. It's 7 bucks now. surry :(

TTWE is a good song.
I just didn't like the album because the songs sounded very.... bland to me. I was really hyped up and just felt let down when I listened to all of the songs. That being said, I do like a good 3-4 songs on the album.

I also love "How I Roll"

"Hold It Against Me" can rot for all I care though.

Femme Fatale > BTW imo.
Had high expectations for Gaga which weren't received, didn't have as high expectations for Britney which were exceeded.

Peach's jab is gay/godlike, well at least the way Hero uses it. Speaking of Hero, me, him, and BigLou (and two of biglou's friends but they are just getting into competitive stuff so they aren't anything to talk about yet) had a little smashfest and got matches recorded so I'll be posting videos of him later today.

Idk if he will get on the boards today but I know he would like critique on some of his videos.
