Someone believes in AMERICA FREEDOM and hard work solving everything a bit too much to question whether it's all actually there :p
I'm not a major determinism, but i do believe in some of the things in determinism. Being considered a ****** in your eyes doesn't disprove those points or make me want to think otherwise about them.

Lol, it's not about American Freedom. I just find an existence where our entire path we walk in our lives is predetermined by god(s) to be such a pointless and helpless existence.

Also I feel that I am solely responsible for all the decisions I've made in my life. I am an independent person who has never relied on anyone to make decisions in my life, I'm sure as hell not willing to accept that some god I don't even believe in already predetermined a life for me and that I've had no say in how I've acted previously and how I'll act in my future.

I'll always believe man can make his own destiny. Determinism is such an archaic and paganistic philosophy, it falls under other bogus **** like fortune tellers.

Actually d.pch, while the blacks get more recognition, it was mostly rich white people who got the civil rights act moving; your point still stands very much solidly though.

I did not mean to target one raices. Those were just the first that game to mind in terms of being leaders instead of followers. And thinking outside the box to get things done. I even threw cliton in there

you do realize determinism isn't about god....
How are you responsible for your birth or any part of what you were taught in your childhood? also how did you decide on your name, or your race, or you hieght, or anything involving your looks? also how did you decide on your personality and your quirks? also how did you decide where you were born and into what social class you were born? i would love to hear how you decided on all of these things.

Well.

Imagine someone holding their 'God' in high regard and putting a lot of time in their religion, as well as truly having 'faith' in it. In the meantime your country gets ruined, your father dies, you get divorced and life in general starts to suck. By then you might start doubting if the 'God' you are worshipping is truly so gentil... and if doing religion is really that necessary.

so..... anyone else play MvC3 yet?
for my team i definitely know i'm keeping storm, i love her playstyle and super. My other two will most likely be arthur and sent but i'm not 100% positive about them.

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think the Peaches are doing too well at Pound.

I heard from Jerm that he doesn't think Raz made it out of pools (he got 0-2'd and 2 stocked game two by Jerm).

We all know Kyon didn't make it out.

Haven't heard anything about King Beef, didn't Nicole lose to some Sonic?

Nicole and lloD (lloD didn't enter) both beat Seibrik in money matches.

Nicole beat Esam in a money match.

Lol, the point of anti-determinism is that you are capable of breaking from this "fate". I can change my name, my physical traits, my personality, my social status, pretty much anything about me I can change.

Just because I did not have the ability to choose my path in life when I was younger doesn't mean anything, I have become a man and I can choose my path now.
