my parents don't really care that it's video games it's just basically the fact that i'm going out of city with no real "adults" that bothers them

i told them - i'm 17, just got a job, and what are you going to do when I graduate from high school? (I'll be 17)

if they aren't letting you go because it's a GAME then just tell them you want to meet more people in your area that play it competitively or whatever. Getting out to play Brawl is like a positive rolling snowball it gets better and better with your parents the more you do it.

I had that problem of traveling away in Nov. Basically what Ill said. You have to take a stand against your parents. You need to show them that you can make your own choices with your life. This is something you enjoy with a community that you like. Honestly I would say **** it and go. Yeah they probably won't like it. My parents didn't like it when I unexpectedly slept the night over at a smasher's house(they know none of these people), but honestly they got over it very quickly. Take this first step and I'm sure they'll relent over time. I've seen that happen a dozen times.

The Pikachu is looking great, already have full control of the character. Next step will be to learn matchups to the degree that ESAM knows them, it'll be tough and my placings will go down for a while I'm sure, but I'm gonna commit to it.

Gave up on Wolf in favor of Falco though since I have a great teacher for him only 20 mins away.

I'm aware of the whole top 5 thread, but I'm extremely hesitant because in the past, whenever someone makes a thread about being the best Peach, someone gets butthurt and drama always arises. I'm not sure if I want to deal with that. Again.

@ Ill- Most likely the ones that I'm too worried to remain on the ground for too long in: ICs, DDD, Olimar etc, and ones that I know to a T like Wario and GnW. That's about it, really.

well as of late its been people in the area. Gdx for diddy which I feel I learned so much. Like people say dair is what beats diddy kong and its our best option but honestly I feel it isn't. I think dair is used more for an escape from the aggro diddy. I think the ability Peach has that allows her to float and not trip over banana traps is what makes that mu go more for Peach than anything. People may disagree though but I don't give a **** I do what i want!. Also some ice climber practice with 2djeff, of course snake practice and my friend Mars that knows the Peach mu well with his Pit and fox. I do also believe that bair against pit is very good.... as nair is for fox.

if we do a top 5 thread who is allowed to vote? i dont think it should necessarily be limited to just peaches, but it also shouldn't be anyone who just randomly comes on these boards to chat/troll/whatever.

i dont really care for the idea because there shouldnt need to be a thread for this. the best peach should be obvious, and since it isnt, it's clear that we're all about on the same level and that whoever is listed as first (and any placing that follows) is probably arbitrary.

also are we counting europe? because leon is the best without question if we are.
