I'm pretty lucky because two of the best people in my region use Wario, so I have a lot of experience with the matchup. I always go really close with them, and I would have beaten hunger if I didn't noob up and miss the Usmash out of grab release.

Hey guys, good news. If you remember me, you know I was able to play Brawl only because my friend let me borrow his Wii. Eventually he took it back, so I left the forums.

Well, he recently got a PS3 (no games I know), so he might let me borrow his Wii again :bee:

Ah, hello Air. I remember our Online battles. Good times. :p

Keep in mind that there is also a chance that he might not let me borrow his Wii too, so don't welcome me yet :dizzy:

Today is double's and yeah they don't let us show the vids we record. So I been told. I found out in some regions are very harder than others. Some places have a lot of good players and some don't. It seems florida is good. All these things we find out for Peach are good but in the end if the combo isn't something that will always work its no good. As I continue to play this game more and more I keep realizing that peach's turnips is what makes her win. Like hiROI vs m2k. He got 2 stocked high percent while even better players using marth,mk, and diddy get 3 stocked low percent. I say we all should concentrate on turnips more than anything. I've been saying they are good for the longest and im sure a lot of others have as well... but we need to actually take it in and if we are winning or losing and making a comeback we need to keep pulling.

And yes meno hiROI is a ****. He almost got beat up by this black family in disney XD

This reminds me. I figured out high level meta knights. Last week at the tourny I had to play shadow meta in bracket.. The first game I got 2 stocked . I was doing fine and recking him but I could not kill him cause he was playing a patient game. and so was I. Then got stupid and decided to rush him. So game 2 I decided to trying something else and figured out how he played. I took 2 stocks off him. I wished I would have saved thoses matches on my wiil. I even took the first stock off his meta game 2.

I finally got meta down with this style aof mine. The thing is I can't explain how I do it. But I would be able to show. Maybe this can help others. But I was so happy after the set with his meta as to How I was doing and handling his ****. Points of these matches he could not do anything to me.

I really feel that Peach is sort of like a mini diddy. She can do alright without items, but give her a few turnips and see can do very well. We also have some of the same OoS options, but less good. I love the fact that with Diddy you can do a OoS -> Kill move in just about any direction instead of straight above like Peach is limited to OoS.

i like to Nair or Bair OoS, i don't exactly know the frame data for it, but if your quick with it, its very fast lol. i use it to punish a whoooole bunch of things, shuttle loops w/e

According to the frame data thread, you become airborne 6 frames after the jumping animation starts. Bearing that in mind, Nair ooS is 9 frames, and Bair ooS is 12 frames. So yeah, it's pretty fast. :)

I need to remember to use Bair. I always forget that Nair is a more forward ended attack instead of a rear ended attack. So, I usually end up missing a few punishments.

I also think people need to think about using Dash Attack OoS more often. It's a fairly quick attack in a way. 7 frames to drop shield and 3 to start a dash. Frames 6-9 of the move sweep forward. So, it's an attack that can reach a good distance in only 16-19 frames. It seems really good for punish those attacks that push your shield out really far.

Also, how many throw turnips up in the air when not edgeguarding?

i throw them up sometimes when someones respawning. but mostly it is for edgeguardning when i make turnip rain
I had been thinking about characters like Snake, Link, TL, and Diddy who all seem to throw projectiles upwards. And I feel it's actually a very good idea for peach to mimic against those with no projectiles. I mean those who are typically forced to approach anyway, or people who have an aggresive playstyle. It just seems to give yourself a unique advantage in the match doing this. Imagine a turnip thrown upwards, while holding another with you. Depending upon your timing, it generates a rather unique wall. Snake's have been doing that exact same thing with mortars and grenades to similar effects, we should pseudo apply copy it.

Plus, it's just great for anyone thinking of going over your head when falling from the ground. But, everyone has always done that. Another thing. If what kyon said is fairly true that turnips are everything, then throwing them upwards is really the best solution. It keeps them out longer and you can chain throw turnips like this as well.

It isnt new at all, it's great to toss them up as a way of creating your own little arena, with your own field advantage :D Peach does well in defending a small space, and the small space under a falling turnip is that much more to her advantage :3

It'd be pretty cool, yeah.

I just want to point out that HiROI got the 10,000th post in this thread.

Yay! I'm so special

My match against M2K was so depressing. In the start I would have such a small lead, and then it was cute, and then the moment my feet got off stage, there goes my stock. Not always, but 7/10 times. And I could have taken another stock off the second game but side smashed, when I meant to usmash :( But its okay! I was very proud that I got quite close to him. A guy named Cura knocked me out of the tournament and I completely blame myself. I was going so agro against his marth and I was just stupid. And then when I started plucking, I did a 0-77 percent combo and I was like 'I'm going to da dolla stooor333 today', but i stopped plucking. I'm going to do what Malcom X told me, and put my tag as camp or something so I wont forget xD But its pretty stupid I had to play M2K in Round 2 of winners...

***** stealing my Olimar players. Skank *** hussy.
Ya know how i do! But, in all serious, I love Out of Staters and I was surprised on how open and not shy I was with everyone! Like Fino was just amazing. I remember seeing him on Thursday and just being chill, but throughout the whole MLG, we were like this *crosses fingers*. And he was such a jerk for shaking my Docter Pepper and I later opening it. But he is such a skankalicous flirt! The other OoS who was absolutely fantastical was Lee Martin. I love playing his peach and he's a fun guy! And he voted me for the best hair in the whole tournament :'D Plus at the last day, he gave me a hug :'D I want to travel to MidWest so badly now.

And MalcomX is so legit at Stake and Shake. And sky is a hoochi mama who's perm be burnin for be!ñg 2 s+up!ddd to read directions~*~*~

All in All
MLG HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE SO FAR.
So all peaches, lets go to APEX! Because Kyon and I are, and I want APEX to be my favorite....so get it done

I'm glad the Peaches had a good time @ MLG Orlando. Who's going 2 Columbus?

@ Kyon, I think your right about camping w/ turnips. It's the only way to beat MK, and pulling more increases the chance that you pull a beam sword, saturn, & bomb-omb.

The Peach that will finally wins something big will have to be amazing @ camping, utilizing special items, smart OOS, good in close quarter combat, reading/predicting opponents, and skillful @ adapting.

I recorded a set with my friends TL today. I was doing this. I might upload it 2morrow.

I think it is a good odea that some Peach players are going to both G.A.M.M.E and columbus. Soneone has to place high at both. I know for a fact I'm hacking this **** in FL and I will be practicing hard for this day. Guess KB is gonna have to take over Ohio?

Could you explain that one to me please?

I know it's nothing new. This late into Brawl being out, people must of thought of everything by now. I was simply noticing how it seems there are two kind of peach players, the campy kind, and aggresive kinds. And it seems as if not enough peach players have made the distinction that camping is really the best way to go for someone like Peach. As such, I was making a quick remark about how throwing turnips up seemed like a relatively foreign thought to some people. I mean, it was certainly so until I played a couple of peaches who tried it with edgeguarding, and I thought how effective this is even when not edgeguarding.

get a turnip, toss it up. Grab another, toss it up. Jump and Zgrab the first turnip you grabbed and toss it up. then do the same with the second or grab another turnip and toss it up and Grabed the second you just tossed and toss it up again. Lil something I made up and decided to do. I call it the turnip juggle.
