Drinking 2L of water a day is hard. I also go to the washroom like 4 times more than normal.

I'm caving in to dairy for just a day for when I bake a nice pre-Thanksgiving (it's in October in Canada) pumpkin cheesecake! I can't wait to use my newly bought springform!

At least it isn't as inactive as my main's boards. Their social chat is like the only active thread there, well, the majority of the time, it is.
And speaking of Thanksgiving, I can't wait for it to come again. I just love the turkey, ham, and macaroni once it gets served and I end up being the one to eat most of it, well the macaroni at least. And there's often some canned soda around too, making it a fun few days, because that's how long the food lasts.

But anyways, in terms of your degree (for college grads/students), how successful were you finding a job related to your path of study? Or are you doing something completely different to what you studied either by choice or just because of not being able to find anything?

I can't say for myself as I changed my major three years in my first program, but from word of mouth and actual statistics of my program, 95%-ish of all students find a job related to their path of study (accounting). It may more be attributed to the fact my school is known in Vancouver for giving everybody hands on experience and developing a good work ethic (7-8 courses per semester) plus they work pretty hard at building and maintaining connections with as many businesses as possible including the "Big Four" accounting firms.


I'm not sure but I'm thinking about making Turducken for Thanksgiving!

Went to nursing school to obtain my RN (Registered Nurse) License. I got it and am working as a RN. I had a hard time finding my first job, but it was my 1yr as a visiting/home health nurse in July. I will move to hospital nursing after I've made big life changes (imagine what that is, lol!)

Only one of my friends didn't go on to work as a nurse, she graduated nursing school, got her license, but decided she didn't want to work as a nurse. I think she still works at bath and body works. The rest of the girls (my facebook) are working at local hospitals. I think I'm the only one that didn't do hospital work, but I think that had to do with the influx of new grads with connections (I was not a nursing aide), and the fact that I still was pre-hormones. I don't think it would be an issue now, because I have work experience and my appearance is no longer an issue.

The Pit boards are corrupted and don't deserve my kindness, especially with you and your "unlucky" mojo (your laughing doesn't help), not to mention the other bullies around who joke about anything (including my depressed/discouraged moments), and that one guy who actually does nothing but attack me, but thankfully he'll be gone soon if he keeps it up.
So too bad, so sad, the Peach boards are at least nicer... at least for now, and it beats the alternatives.

Well, I can be, but now-a-days ppl just purposely annoy me, and I don't even wanna start with how many AIB'ers do that alone.
It's hard trying to control the temper, and many say to ignore, but tbh, I don't believe that ignoring helps all the time, or much at all. So i thought some Peachy players would be more of the calm friendly type compared to the majority of others. Plus that pairing thing I mentioned.
