Go Samitto!

And I guess Ryo and Tsujikawa for BB. I would have loved to see an Izayoi, but no one can play her. :/

I hope he magically makes it out of that bracket. lol

Koichi probably tried. He qualified in P4U and GG at least.
Who wants to play?
I would. But I just got back from the movies and now trying to reverse everything I learned in BB so I can place well in a Persona tourney lol

I have faith in him. I'm honestly not sure who I'd root for between N-O and Yoshiki, though... I think they're probably my two favorite players overall.

So, lately. I've been running through the arcade mode with all the characters to kinda get to know them all better. I've got a couple left, but two REALLY stood out to me so far.

Bang and Litchi.

Both are incredibly fun to use.

Also, I was surprised as to how quickly I beat arcade with Bang. I literally tore Boss Hazama a new ******* with him. And Boss Hazama is usually a class A ****.

And Litchi man, Litchi's friggin awesome.
Litchi is one I always liked, but I had no freaking idea how to use. I think with my time in Tekken (where I pretty much learned my fundamentals best) will allow me to appreciate her and Mu a hell of a lot more come Chrono Phantasma.

Yeah, sometimes I'll go to TTT2 when I get a sort of "not feeling it" day with BB or P4A, and man...that game punishes the hell out of you for not knowing your spacing and for being overly aggressive in your gameplay without remembering to block properly. Still though, I've actually been appreciating Mu a lot more myself lately, so who knows.

Xie also has a write-up that explains all the characters' rankings.

It basically has the answers to both of your questions, but a) Ragna is really high because he's really good and b) Bang isn't even close to being OP, but he is a strong character in Extend.

You got a link?

Also, where's what my buddy said:

No on bang btw. Bang is ranked at A idk how. Arakune is good is so is Ragna but hakumen is also a junk character. Arakune is good ONLY if you can land the curse, if you can't he is not even half decent. Ragna is good only because of his uppercut being invincible on start up and his drain attacks coupled with his moderate speed make it difficult to outlast him but Bang? BANG?!?! BANG is the single most broken character in the game. His drive moves are ALL invincible, the have short frame animations, making using them as a counter an instant combo, has mobility enhancers and long range projectiles alone with overdrives that can be link one on top of the other? I guess the only reason you don't think Bang is broken is because I'm taking it you play him as your main. Hakumen just does massive damage on singular pokes. If you can avoid his pokes, Hakumen can simply be pointed to an laughed at
He played back in CSI mind you, back when according to FG Bang was ranked S.

Ragna's good for a number of reasons, but he's not broken either. With Ragna in S tier, it should give you a good idea on how tame S tier was in that game.
And yeah, no way Bang is S tier. I don't think your friend know how to get past Bang's drive's guard point. And his reasons for Ragna isn't all what Ragna has that's good.

Yeah, I felt Ragna's good because he's got good approach options and can insta-combo quite well.

I'll be all up for play against all of you once I pick up a PS3, it should be when Chrono Phantasma comes out in the West.

As it stands now, I'll settle for pulling my hair out playing Arcade Mode while on my way to work on the PSP version of Extend.

Balance changes and console characters is my guess. I'm hoping for something else though since this is their 25th anniversary.

I hope it's a balance patch for hakumen because I already despise CP hakumen and i haven't even played the game yet.

Also anybody know where it's gonna be streamed?
Hopefully not on niconico because it's streams are ****ing awful.

Nice. I'd offer to give you pointers and advice, but I admit I'm not the right person to be doing that and that I can only really help you with Noel combos and setups if you wind up going with her, lol.

Also, anybody potentially up for some games tonight?

I saw you hop into the Dustloop room earlier. Why didn't you stick around? It was streamed and everything. :(

Also, if they re-balance CP, all I ask for is a gatling from 6B into 5C and jumpable 6A. Asides that? I'll keep everything else about Ragna.

Removing the 6b>5c gatling was done purposely because Ragna's not supposed to have good mixups, so I doubt he'll be getting it back.

Oh, right, I knew "ShatteredSound" was a familiar looking PSN. I actually left because I got an invite from one of my PSN friends when I got on to go into his room. And it's actually probably for the best that I didn't stick around since I was way off my game. Should've been playing more BBCSX and less TTT2.

Uh, next time there's a DL room, lemme know and I'll be sure to hop on in?
