Also, THINK ABOUT HOW TAGER MAINS FEEL.
Seriously.
:c's for tager mains.

@Spelt: Noel will lose Optic Barrel combos, reducing her corner carry. And... uh, Mu will have delayed habacan combos. And xx > j.2C > Yata super > shenanigans. Nom nom.
also she'll be able to DP while setting up steins in the air, which is going to piss off eerryone. :3 i might even pick her up again, so excited...

214A will be useless otherwise, I really can't see them taking that out.
can't you still use it as mixup?
tokido was doing that at evo.

Taking out 6C > throw whiff > 6C is weird, it adds like 5 damage to a combo

But not being able to troll by chaining like 5 6Cs, that's rough

Canceling air steins into DP? Sounds pretty godlike. :3c

You can, but it's super risky, and incredibly easy to punish on whiff.

Meter and corner carry though...

Yeah Mu doesn't have to rely solely on 236a as protection after it anymore. :079:

Yeah but it obviously hits everyone 100% of the time ... right?

Tao's loop got nerfed bad. :3

I like how everyone is all "I'll let you beat me up then you let me beat you up so we can learn the changes." They're being so nice. :3

Also her 3c is emergency techable.
Pretty sure that's not how it was in cs1 but i don't see it on the changes thread on DL.

My new goal in this BB iteration is to gold burst through a sparkbolt.

Indeed! It's kinda weird to watch though.

:urg:
It only hits a standing opponent. Against a croucher, she just jumps over their head, and lands on the other side.

MU'S J.2C NOW FATALS. :embarrass:

Yeah I know. :p
I was just being salty because I always get hit by it.

Maybe she'll actually be able to combo from it after a ground hit now. :|

You could move the Eddie independent of Zato though, couldn't you? My GG knowledge is rusty.

Plus, Ignis disappears if Relius gets hit.
I'm fairly certain you cannot move only Eddie, but then again, I main Robo-Ky so my Eddie knowledge is not spectacular. Also, Eddie disappears if Zato is hit in Guilty Gear as well, so they share similarities.

I remember posting something along the lines of, "If he doesn't play like Eddie I'll be disappointed." Well, he seems to be Jojo + Eddie, so I'm getting hype.

Ah, Robo-Ky. How you can get a 7 hit combo off of pure missiles. :bee:

6c not floating is gonna hurt her pressure. :|
That was her main frame trap.

Maybe it'll shorter down the combo length from 30 seconds to 25 seconds.

Speaking of Makoto combos, I just now embarrassingly realized that the "Corona Upper whiff" part of combos means that you just do the first part of the Uppercut and don't try and "whiff with the Power Dunk part". *facepalm*

5D, dash, 2B, 6A, 2D. Problem solved.

But the proration...
2A confirm corner does 2.8k instead of 3.4k
> 2A 5B 5CC 5D 66 2B 6A 2D 2C 214B~B jD 2366A~D 214B~D
Corner throw does 3.4k instead of 4k.

It's a guess off of what you can't do anymore. Who knows \o/

That's kinda impressive just doing stuff like that by thinking on it a few seconds Crusayer. Then again, I see "the command matrix" playing as Noel where seeing a command (say 2B) actually gives me a mental image of what that move looks like instantly, so I guess it's just knowing your main. Still, props.

Looks like litchi is getting hit really hard.
I didn't think she was that big of a problem. Definitely much better than she was in cs1.

I don't think they even have a solid idea of how they want her to play like yet...

Rachel's hasn't been changed much.
the changes to top are awesome though it makes her like the awesome CT rachel i remember but without the overwhelming brokenness.
playstyle wise CT rachel was the best.

  • B drive movement followup - Can attack sooner after use
  • Gasshoukyaku (214D~B) - Added corner blowback. Horizontal range shortened. Can follow up in corner
Yes!

  • 6C - Now either has same move proration or really big proration
PROFOUND SADNESS.

Tsubaki actually looks like she's being nerfed a bit, unless the 2D buff makes up for the changes somehow. 6A fatal is pretty cool, though.

I miss those days. One hit confirm, bring them into the corner, then the match is practically yours
until they use that lousy CT burst I hate.
Too bad I forgot how to use CT Rachel after struggling in CS1.

Me too. :(

I've been watching some CT matches recently for nostalgia purposes and besides the terrible battle portraits the matches are still really exciting.
I don't miss the super easy comebacks that happen almost every match, though.

Since it's harder to do Ragna's combos in CSII and all (obviously not stupid hard or anything, just more fulfilling then the double BE of vanilla CS), I wouldn't mind a slight damage buff for Ragna.

that's just bias talkin' though. I want Ragna's godlikeness from the first CS without the derp. :p

I agree with the Rachel mains; as crazy as CT Rachel was, she was also the most interesting.

Though I also think CS2 Rachel has a lot of untapped potential.
