There are two tourneys a week from tomorrow (saturday). A melee one in Grand Rapids with people like Biggy, Rat, the Ann Arbor guys, and allegedly Tink and Zjiin. There's also a Brawl Midwest Circuit Event in Ann Arbor with people such as lain, (probably) Anther, and (potentially) OS, Kel, Sliq, etc...

regardless of which one turns out being bigger, the melee one will be more fun.

It's not like it has a problem staying alive, it's just that if it is EVERY SUNDAY for $5 in venue followed by $5 a tournament, there's no way you're going to have people come every week.

1. i think even a biweekly or even a monthly would be best...linguini hold monthlies down here in FL and he sees like 30 people show up and like 20 some odd people enter...so does gigabits a bit north of where im frome...42 people entered that..so here anyway it seems like monthlies work

2. i think that most people feel that brawl singles arent any fun but brawl doubles are since u cant camp and be as gay...thats just my opinion though

3. melee rules...i look forward to coming to one of these when i come home

1+2 is probably the best. But that's just me. Paying $5 for venue (gay) every sunday followed by paying $5 into like a $45 pot is dumb. $10 makes it worth it. And by making it bi-weekly people have more chance to come+able to deal with a $10 fee.

Well. I would suggest bi-weekly or even monthly (<-- THIS). I also agree it should be $10 instead of $5.
