Ahhhh crazy weekend lol. The day is drawing near, I look forward to meeting and playing as much of you as possible.
Narutoshocker... I hope i get to meet some of those right people before this upcoming friday and saturday.
The area im gonna be working around is Farmington Hills, Michigan 48331.
Also, My hotel is around Livonia, MI 48152.
I get out of work everyday at 5pm. Im gonna have my rental car, so transportation is the least of problems.
So whoever thats pretty skilled is up for some games in melee or brawl (preferably Melee) that is around either of these areas i just mentioned then im definetly up for it.
I'll be playing with Bowyer and some of his roommates.
People that like to go out on the weekend nights. I hope i could meet some of those lol. Not exactly sure how hard it is to find someone like that here on the boards.

for those of you going to Genesis, can i get in on your housing, rides, etc
and umm i was thinking i might come up there and fly out with u guys, if someone who was going could house me for the night before the flight.
if not when yall get your tickets, let me know the ETA so i can try and get a ticket that comes in around the same time.
um i mainly asking cause no one from my area is really going, and it would kinda suck to be there alone and all that jazz : /

It'd prolly cost you like $600... going off of your join date, I'm guessing you're fairly new to the scene, in which case, I would recommend not going to genesis because the money probably wouldn't be worth it... and anyways, only a couple people from MI are going to head out there.
I here ya, i am a new joiner, although I have lurked around the site a while before that, I am a mediocre player as of right now most likley but it would be a fun experience regardless, thanks for the info though.

Lol, I guess i could also do some brawl on thursday. I'll bring melee as a backup tho b/c i dunno brawl gets really boring after a couple of hours. Ima go buy a gamecube controller tomorrow morning lol. And people with HDtv's need not worry lol. Melee+ wii + component cables + Progressive scan = 0 Lag.

After beating Keits in Chicago, I kinda realized that I have a pretty good shot at getting an invitation to the invitation-only 64-man TvC tournament at this year's EVO. As a result, I'm slowly starting to get back into TvC. I guess the decision on whether or not I end up with an invite would probably bank on my performance at EVO North, so I've got some time to practice.
Also, apparently, AllisBrawl teamed up with EVO to run an "official" side tournament for Brawl with a real ruleset. So EVO might turn out to be pretty cool this year.

Woah. Now that I think of it, EVO North is only a month before EVO itself. So... I think I might have a chance at getting an invite without having to attend any other TvC tourney O_o.
