If you REALLY wanted to play you can play online (yes i know online sucks) you just have to keep the same buffer at all times.

Most of the known memphis players are melee masters...just look how they placed in Genesis. O.o
You can't convert them from melee.

Ugh I played Melee with them. I still play melee with them. Brawl+ is the medium for Melee buffs and people who enjoy vBrawl. No more vBrawl vs Brawl+ talk. Each of the main areas of TN plays something different.Don't be pushing your Brawl + on memphians. >_<

I dont plan on it becoming you guys number 1 but if you like it then Come to monthlies atleast to hang out and Play in tournament. And with it being at my place there are really no Time constrains.
Hopefully soon I can get some stuff together and Have a Big possibly 3 day tourney with Melee, Brawl+, and vBrawl (for the kids)

Hmmm, having a memphis tourney is looking very possible. We're going to get one together by next summer once school isn't stealing our time. If you had a huge tourney KO Captain and I could probably help.
Where were you thinking on having it, if any places have come to mind yet.
Also, will you update the front page again real quick with a link to the AIB group? :D
I'll get Stash to post a link to the smashboards thread on there as well. Hopefully we can get both parties a bit more active, especially the AIB one. T_T

Updated first page. Problem with AiB is that its pretty much just Brawl people, where Smashboards is everyone. Well I don't have any place in mind but I want to host it in Murfreesboro. It will probably be some day where everyone is out of school for a three day weekend cause the summer is gonna be full of tournaments everywhere. As for help, the kind of help id be needing would be to pay for the venue up front (whoever helps would be reimbursed obviously). Hopefully with School monies and Crew members I wouldn't be needing outside help. But hey the more the merrier.Hmmm, having a memphis tourney is looking very possible. B+ is the majority, though some in memphis still play vBrawl. Melee is still where its at.

I recently got a chance to fight this guy who goes by Vexen.
It was my first time ever fighting against someon who was near/on/above my level.
We played 3 4-stock matches.
First match, his Jiggz beat my Fox, but it got down to the last stock.
Second match, his Roy beat my Pichu, but that match was even closer.
Final match, my CF beat his by two stocks.
I had to leave after that, since we fought after this casual tourney, and it was late.
Those matches were very interesting, though.

Vbrawl-Most of my friends play it along with a few tourney guys.
Melee-three or so groups still play Blood line, DMl, Runaway 7, and a few outside guys.
Brawl + Only a few dml players

pretty sure there is a more avid scene in Middle TN than that of Memphis which we all play B+ and Not vBrawl (I still play melee). Then there is Knoxville people who play all three (mainly Melee). Memphis aint what It used to be.

and West TN has lots of vBrawlers apprently, Haloman is getting into hosting tournaments and got a nice turnout at his first one.
