Are there any good teams threads out there, if not, feel free to discuss best team characters,team tactics, stages, etc.

I feel that pit and dk can make a good combination. Here are my reasons

Pit can rack up damage amazingly fast using his hiyiyiya!
Donkey Kong has powerful smash attacks and special attacks, but is fast enough to hold his own against mor annoying characters like metaknight (darn his hiyiyiya!)
With the fast racking up damage, and dks strength to finish them off, i think they are a brilliant team.

Pit can also even stay with donkey kon and they can fend off opponents with pits hiyiyiya and dks ground pound, one going each side of eachother.

As i said, these are simply my opinions, noone elses, i didnt say any of this was fact.

Well i see metaknight kind of how zerg works of starcraft in teams. They go together with the other charcaters/races greatly but they are so rigged with it is MK/MK or ZergZerg. If you want a good teammate but not sure who to team with, get a metaknight player

I think Sonic and Mario make a good team up because mario has more defense to cover sonic and sonic can overwhelm opponents with his speed and on top of that the face of nintendo and the face of sega team up I mean you gotta believe that's a awesome team up.

I think that if your trying to theroy two characters on opposite sides of the spectrum doesnt work unless both characters are always in unison but in actual 2v2 games its more like two 1v1 and the only aspect 2v2 has is switching opponents constantly.

This man speaks the truth. Synergy between characters in teams doesn't really matter since you and your partner are rarely working in unison. Just go double MK ftw.

I play in an MK/ROB team that does pretty well. They can't be gimped. Rob won't die. MK can keep someone off stage while ROB spikes. Both can just downsmash their way to victory.

This not only displays a startling ignorance of Brawl teams, but also a startling ignorance of Starcraft.

I heard MK and Marth on a team is banned in some places. Down throw leads to tipped Up smash which kills really early.

The whole "2v2 is really two 1v1's" concept is why i don't like team attack turned on. without team attack you can acctually combo with your team mate and do some crazy things. One of my favorites is Diddy and Ike. Diddy trips them and Ike kills them

Anyone with good projectile(s) (Zelda,Samus,Toon Link) teamed up with somebody like Ike, Bowser, or Dedede is good.

imo best team is d3 and mk. one slow strong tank and one fast character, both with amazing recover, killing potential, and team stats

This is probably a godawful team, but I like Zelda and Samus; Din's Fire can disrupt people for missile/laser attacks, and if the need arises Zelda can change into a much faster character. Plus they both hit pretty hard.

No, it takes communication and the ability to work togethor to create constant situations in which your team is most benificial from.

No, but it is funny.

FIGHT ME x 2 = Good times. That and double Mach Tornados... It boggles the mind. :dizzy:

Ness and Lucas make a good team... Lucas takes land, and Ness takes to the air for great teamwork. Also, they can heal one another if necessary.
