Why are y'all throwing in the towel now? We should assume that this SNK thing was a mistake on the part of Nintendo and not an indicator of who's coming for #4. We should only panic if it's true.
I’ve been burned several times now from saying “hey why I should believe you” to basically every leak so far and getting my hopes up for another outcome. JUST for number 4 I’m going to assume it’s Terry till I see other wise. Number 5 is still completely open since the only thing backing Ryu is super weak and part of an easily predictable 4chan post.
Tweet says they'll be talking about LM3 and PSwSh as well, so I think we'll possibly get sections of those, other announcements, and a section on Banjo with his release date, and a reveal for #4 either at the beginning or the end.

Yeah. I’m thinking he’s in ultimate.
I’m not sure why this idea has stuck with me but I like the thought of Phoenix learning he’s in Smash and getting really scared and confused like Isabelle was, making his tagline “Phoenix Wright Objects?!?” in the trailer.
I have a gut feeling we’ll get a second trilogy reveal, but not AA7. Then again, I also have a gut feeling that Phoenix will be revealed so perhaps it can’t be trusted.
I kinda doubt Maya would be added to Nick's moveset. Definitely in his taunts and victory anims though.
I mean they were able to implement her in MvC3 but I guess it would be hard to make it work it Ultimate in an original way.

i think hed fight characters with weapons similar too the prosecuters, simon for the whip like fransika, any sword user like blackquill, large pile of coffee for gadot etc

Or I could see them show it at the beginning where Sakurai says something like "we won't be showing any DLC in this direct", and then a "HOLD IT!" appears.

With Mila's Divine Protection is one of my favorites from Brawl, and the Light Plane mix from Ultimate was an unexpected banger that I actually would consider to be among the best remixes for the game. Even more reason to want Phoenix in so we can get some mixes of Iwadere's own tunes...
Not sure if this was mentioned either, but the same woman who sings the English version of Lifelight also voices Maya in SOJ!
Oh yeah, I remember hearing about that, lol. Fitting for the voice actress of a spirit medium to sing the main theme of a game who's single player campaign revolves around spirits.
