Because this thread's OP already focuses heavily on MKWii-related material, mixing in MK7 with that will make it unorganized, and having two or more separate events going on for each game may become confusing.

Add a second post in after the OP for MK7 and color code the title of tournaments or something if for some reason people get confused. Really, if we make another thread, it'll just be like having two of the same threads.

Z'z - I don't think characters will be unbalanced in this game. I think it was stated somewhere that any character can use any kart combination regardless of their weight. And afaik, there aren't any character stats. So Peach should be just like everyone else.

Yes. It was decided that there would just be 3 postbits (gold, silver, bronze medals) which would be applied for any game's tournament, rather than having game-specific postbits. If that were to happen there would be like 80 different postbits which would be much too much.

Seeing as there is a lack of Diddy Kong, I am going Shy Guy. I've liked him since I first saw him in Yoshi's Story. Plus he sounds like Birdo which will be amazing.

Shy guy seems to be the coolest new character.
I don't understand why they would take out characters like Diddy kong, Dry bones, and King boo.
This Mario kart has a very disappointing roster imo.
At least they left in Rosalina :/

I think Lakitu and Shy Guy are the coolest additions.

Honey Queen's addition doesn't make sense to me. And Wiggler is a cool addition I think. Metal Mario seems like a waste. They could've done better, or at least expanded the roster a bit.
