Just checked quickly on Devianart. Closest thing i found is this (Wind Waker style Shovel Knight)(by The-Bradshacalypse).

Seems like someone modded Smash 4 with an idea similar to yours in mind. Here.

It's not Facebook. It's not Twitter. Not even Smash Bros teasers and trailers.

Rhymes aside, I just need to make some comments about this image.

This some is really good art. So much attention to detail combining their lore with internet memes telling stories about every fighter's history and/or showing their personality. For anyone who's bored, just look into this image in detail. That's literally what I did for about an hour. For faster readers (unlike myself), there's at least 30 minutes of content to unpack from this single image that will put a smile on just about anyone's face.
