Is this just for confirmed franchises?
Metroid could have Kraid as a boss.
Eggman seems like about the only boss Sonic could have (assuming that 3rd party characters have bosses)

If yet to be confirmed franchises are ok if Isaac gets in then Saturose and Minardi/the Fusion Dragon as a 2 part boss battle would be so cool.

As for regular evil bosses, I really just want to see Kracko the cyclopian spikey thunder cloud from the Kirby series. Always liked him, always will.

Why do so many people think that the final boss from various games will be a boss in the SE? Was Petey Piranha a final boss?

And in regards to the evil Pokémon teams, i doubt that all of them will appear. My bets are on either Team Rocket, or both Team Magma and Aqua. If one of them appears at all.

Kirby: Kracko or Whispy Woods
Zelda: Dodongo or Gohma
Metroid: Ridley (no matter if he'll be a playable character or not) or Kraid

As for non playable bosses, PLEASE Andross. Ridley im sure will make it. We need another metroid character.

What many people don't seem to get about the bosses, is that they will not be humanoid, or otherwise things that can be used as a playable character, if they are are not already a PC. What does this mean? If Wolf is not a PC, he will not show up as a boss. As Bowser is a PC and a villain, he can show up as a boss.

So what constitutes as a non-PC boss? Well just look at Petey and Rayquazza. They are giant boss-like creatures that couldn't be implemented in another way. Something like the dragon from FE, Kraid, Kracko, or even a moddified Andross can get in as bosses.

And to add my two cents for the Ridley thing, I think that there's no doubt Ridley will be a boss, but I say this under the hope that it will be a PC boss like Bowser, and not one of the unplayable bosses.

In my opinion, some of the playable characters will serve as bosses, only the match will be more similar to a versus match then a boss fight, but they may still be considered boss fights

So I think you will fight Ridley in SE but hell still be a playable character (probably in SE as well)

Smart move removing Ridley. His place in Brawl is really confusing. Sakurai hints at him being a boss, then hints at him being playable. He's just toying with us.

But I think he should be playable. Mother Brain or Kraid are better boss choices. Or even Dark Samus, even though Sakurai seems to ignore the prime series.

Oh! Back on topic! I think that Medusa from Kid Icarus should be a boss, along with 02 from Kirby, Andross from Star Fox, Eggman from Sonic, Zant from Zelda, and K. Rool from Donkey Kong (I don't doubt his chances, I just think a boss is better for him)
