Just wait until the supposed "leak" is announcedThis thread is going nuts.
Danger ahead.
Good night.
Maybe they were looking for news on the three rumored newcomers?59 users, 31 guests viewing this thread... This is insane.
This thread is like going a trillion miles per hour and I just got back from work, cut me some slack. You're a bit late on that "before anyone says it" part.
People largely didn't like Brawl because of the way it played, not so much these reasons. And no one liked it. Brawl wasn't the great game everyone expected.
No Megaman, Cut Mewtwo, add Tripping, tons of wasted memory space on Trials of games, movies for SSE, etc. that could have been used on characters, stages, and items that were cut from the series.
64 to Melee had no cuts and that was popular!
We would appreciate it if you weren't so unkind User33, regardless if someone has such tendencies or not.Yep, and this is why you're irritating.
Porque no los dos? Also, glad to see you're in a better moodHabanero: Robin then? Or no character?
Anything can happen now though.
On cuts: I think why I sorta like hearing about cuts is that some characters are made way for new ones in this game. Meaning we'll get maybe more of a chance to see variety in means of newcomers instead of the roster size hitting a limit which means even less.
I know it sounds sorta harsh, but I think it's better to cherish certain veterans even more for their retirement and welcome new fighters.
Good for you, but to be fair it is the first time we've got a character previously dismissed by Sakurai for not being fighter feasible, so it's not like they were incorrect in their logic against the Villager, for what was previously stated.I EXPECTED Villager in SSB4. I even had him in my list of possible likely newcomers for SSB4 and I kept posting it here over and over. But most people here didn't even consider that Sakurai is, in fact, capable of changing his mind.
You're joking right? http://smashboards.com/threads/trac...wtwo-victory-theme.143424/page-5#post-3931448I did not guarantee the former or even say anything about it., and Little Mac is still supposedly going to be for the first round of newcomers. I very rarely say this, but you are pretty much a troll.
Brawl wasn't so bad. -I only liked it because of Toon Link.- But aside from that it was trash.I'm glad it won't be casual bull**** like Brawl.
That's fine, just throw us people who like to be better than others a bone.It will now be a mix of both.
Amen dude, I'm about to bail in a bit. This is too much. I might just go back to the Skype group. This thread is like going a trillion miles per hour and I just got back from work, cut me some slack.
Who knows, but proclaiming anything is guaranteed is foolhardy.Robin then? Or no character?
Good observation. Also thanks for the vid. I haven't seen Sakurai's dev interview yet, lol.I think the drop kick is his smash attack.
At 1:01 we can see his dash attack it's like DK's dash attack
There was a large backlash on here initially because no Ridley, Megaman, and the cuts. Especially the cuts. This was before the game hit shelves when the roster was leaked.People largely didn't like Brawl because of the way it played, not so much these reasons.
We would appreciate it if you weren't so unkind User33, regardless if someone has such tendencies or not.
To be honest, if you look at the Sakurai Vs. guy playing as Mario video. You can see the characters moving a lot faster then Brawl characters. That's fine, just throw us people who like to be better than others a bone.
Naaaaaaaaah, Smash is clearly all about having "realistic" expectations and dealing with disappointmentThat's my brother, haha. But seriously, the whole CONCEPT of Smash Brothers is watching our favorite characters duke it out. If our favorite characters are removed, then don't we have every right to be disappointed?
It will now be a mix of both.
Welp, he's right... you did say that in February 2008, Chrono. You're joking right? http://smashboards.com/threads/trac...wtwo-victory-theme.143424/page-5#post-3931448
Also, the first round of newcomers has passed so....you're still wrong.

Then his source was wrong. You're joking right? http://smashboards.com/threads/trac...wtwo-victory-theme.143424/page-5#post-3931448

GooooooodDAMMIT!
Now if anything is to be cut THAT would be a perfect candidate. You can't even do 1 lap in the F-zero game...Okay, so apparently, Masterpieces in Brawl took up over 1GB. With those gone, we can fit more content than Brawl. Calm down and stop it with the cut talk, people.
Perfect. Not even kidding. It will now be a mix of both.
Well, it IS written that way on their siteGooooooodDAMMIT!
I hope it's bull**** and IGN eats their words. Why would the stop the old trend of using forms of X and Synonyms for "fight."
IMO Toon Link is better.Nah dude, Toon Link is nothing but wasted potential. Best part about Brawl is hands down Snake. Though I will admit he plays a lot better than all the previous incarnations of Link in SSB.
Looks like people are finally getting it. Embrace the cuts, don't fight it, welcome it. It's for the better good.
Yeah, it's what I've been saying. Engine looks faster, more polished, less floaty, attack animations seem faster. Etc...To be honest, if you look at the Sakurai Vs. guy playing as Mario video. You can see the characters moving a lot faster then Brawl characters.
You see, FMOI? You see? This is why I feel like I am 23 all over again.I'm getting deja vu all over again because people are reacting the EXACT SAME WAY when Sakurai made almost the exact same comments about third party characters, character cuts, and the overall size of the roster back in 2006...
I was looking at the CLASH and it was pointed out that Samus' F-smash is like 3 frames.Yeah, it's what I've been saying. Engine looks faster, more polished, less floaty, attack animations seem faster. Etc...
