Nah, this just makes me think Luigi could be a Starter. He's not guaranteed to be an unlockable anyway. Falcon and Ness got their Starter status in Melee, so I'd like Jigglypuff and Luigi to be Starters in For.

Took me a second to realize that I took off my invisible mode the other day.

Good to see you popping in from time to time. I've been mainly lurking the past few weeks as I don't have all that much to say on any of the main threads.

Much of what had to be said has been said. I suppose we're either indifferent or we're momentarily hanging on the edge of our seats with anticipation of things to come.

Basically, I see it as pointless to say "no L-Canceling", "no throwing" or other BS like that.

The only time that makes sense is if you're TEACHING someone the ropes of the game. Otherwise, I don't hold back in the slightest.

I wanted to ask this earlier to everyone here. We know that Smash 4 is supposed to take the series in a new direction. Thing is, we have yet to see anything that explicitly says this other than that Sakurai got rid of random tripping and is aiming for an intermediate audience in terms of difficulty. Right now, it just looks the same as before. To be fair, we have seen only one full match from Smash 4 and we don't know if any of the new stuff (assuming there are new mechanics) were implemented in the build that was presented.

What we do know, assuming Sakurai is being consistent, and he has a good history on that, is that more characters and stages alone would not justify a sequel so expect more than what we've seen.

I find this ironic since ALL OF GAMEFAQS think of Takamaru as even blander than Chrom or prefers dat dog or flowery jailbait over him. Then again, that site is cancer incarnate.

lol This defines Miiverse. I always wondered if people are really THIS thick or if they are trolling. Often times, you may try to reason with them, they continue on with their thoughts and try to shoot you down. That's why I seldom go onto Miiverse :l

Anyway, there's a difference between being reserved and taking a non-compliant approach. If we're talking about gameplay I would advise you or anyone to find their fulfillment in any given game and find ways to enjoy it for yourself.

I have no idea what you're going on about. I see no reason to say to ban something unless it's something that negatively impacts the game.

If this is about rules preference, that's fine and dandy, but it's my opinion you exploit what the game gives you unless it's something that ruins the fun of the game - i.e. glitches, but not exploits.

This is the reason you can't be helped, if you would happen to play it you would use L-canceling, yet its your preference to avoid the mechanic entirely by not playing the game. At the end of the day you have no means or intention to play the game, so don't play it.

While you're at it don't bother making any mention as to what you think about the meta-game. Your input is irrelevant because you have no vested interest in exploring the medium.

It's not just the pictures though, it's the captions he puts along with them. For three of the five updates this week, he actually taunts the fanbase (which is actually funny in all honesty). It just adds fuel to the fire that he acknowledges that a good chunk of the fanbase is hungry for new info and then posts pictures that make some peoples' eyes cross with confusion and rage. It's actually been a lot of fun following Smash news this time around for that reason.

And that's thing. I don't play it because of L-Canceling, but if I enjoyed it enough, I'd put up with it, but I don't have enough interest to go download it.

As for what I think about the metagame. Who made you the boss of what I can and can't say despite not playing it? It'd be one thing if I was saying something that was factually wrong, but I am allowed to say that I think a game like Brawl is boring or that I think L-Canceling is stupid.

Some of these trainers are painful you know. D: My poor Yanmega isn't doing as good as I hoped it to do. My new Gardevoir, on the other hand, an amazing addition to pick off all them commonly seen Fighting, Dark, and Dragons. I suppose it's against those not prepared. Sadly for me, I don't have a strong attack type... Have to do something to pick off opposing Fairy types. Perhaps a Drapion, or should I be patient and go for the new Speed Boost Scolipede?
