Sunrise, Sunset - Isaac for Smash Ultimate #GoldenSunday

[Confirmation]

I did some statistics on Camelot and Golden Sun and I'm thinking it might genuinely be time. Camelot's behavior locks them to a 2019/2020 release on their next title based on the last 5, 10, 15, 20 years and their lifetime as a developer (they release a game every 1 to 2 years). With at least 76% accuracy (there were only 3 games where the release years were wrong out of 13+ titles that statistics could predict)

If the Smash Ballot indeed prove Isaac was a popular choice, that would have been enough to greenlight at least an enhanced port of the originals.

And considering Camelot only do either Golf, Tennis or Golden Sun, this is making a rebirth of Golden Sun an actual possibility

EDIT: And here are the games Camelot have done and when they were first released. Also my statistics helped me accurately guess Samus Returns, Super Mario Party, Yoshi's Crafted World, Kirby: Star Allies, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Pokemon, the list goes on! (well, in terms of which franchises get the spotlight this time)

Okay - we've seen trademarks get renewed before, it's nothing new assuming the company wants to keep their franchise names under their own control. That being said, seeing as this happened a few days ago and it's timing is extremely close (Along with Rhythm Heaven, Wrecking Crew and Sluggers), I think the next 11 hours are going to be the longest of my life.

Guys, I've been saying since Simon, I'm feeling the Isaac reveal. I really think this is it.

Here's the thing, Golden Sun was renewed last in 2009 for Dark Dawn, this was 9 years after the initial trademark for Golden Sun TBS. It was around the timing for an actual renewal (10 years), but It ended up being for a new game.

This is also coming a little early for a renewal . Who knows what it could mean. It could be all our dreams come true. As someone else pointed out they can easily have a trademark removed if they aren't using the property.

When they reached the place Sakurai had told him about, Kyle built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood. Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to deconfirm his son. But the Reggie called out to him from heaven, “Kyle! Kyle!”

“Here I am,” he replied.

“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear Sakurai, because you have not withheld from me your son, your golden son.”

Kyle looked up and there in a thicket he saw a Waluigi caught by its horns. He went over and took the Waluigi and sacrificed it as an assist trophy instead of his son.

The Reggie called to Kyle from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares Sakurai, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your golden son, I will surely bless you and confirm Isaac playable in Smash Ultimate, because you have obeyed me."

If we could get a translation for those snippets of Japanese, it'd be helpful. There was concern of it being coincidental since 9/11 would mean that it was not done in advance of the original planned 9/6 direct date. If it were filed in August though... that would become much more notable.

I don’t know if the trademarks mean too much on their own, but when combined with the seemingly recent Dark Dawn website updates, the numbering for the Smash blog, etc, it just seems like too many things to mean nothing.
