I guess you guys can't understand it like I do, but I have a lot of great memories and experiences built up around Melee, and it pains me to see a perfectly good franchise tampered with just for the sake of an extra buck in Sakurai's pockets.

A lot of friends I've made aren't coming back--and I don't really blame them. Sometimes I wonder why I keep coming back here, because it's becoming increasingly obvious I can't pour my heart out without getting ridiculed. And from you guys, even. Never saw that coming.

Say what you want. Call me a fool for not liking Brawl. I just don't see a reason to stick around here much longer, and the fact that the intelligence of the Brawl Boards is a foreshadowing of what the new Smash community will be like doesn't help.

So I guess this is goodbye. I'll still be at P2W, but SWF is dead to me. I have a few more things to sort out before I go for good, but you probably won't see me too often anymore.

Stryks, just wondering, will this first issue be longer than the comics usually are? you seem to be acting like this upcoming comic will explain a lot of things right off the bat (why Ridley isn't in it, who the legion is, cameos out the wah-zoo, ect.).

Yes. I don't care enough about whether I'm added or not anymore to continue making a big deal about it. I realized how silly it was, so I stopped. It's not worth it. Just a freakin' comic.

Is there a problem with me not caring as much anymore, or would you rather me start complaining again? I hope it's not the latter. Stryks can not add me for all I care now, but if he does, that's cool too.

I was just trying to point out that Stryks is working hard...well, with Brawl I don't know about hard, but he's working on this comic for us, and you looked impatient on this matter when you've been begging for an appearance since you first posted in the thread. And I just want everyone to know that Stryks will add whoever the hell he wants because it is his comic and he's making a d*** good story out of it.

I mean, I too wonder when I will be in the comic, but you don't see me constantly posting, asking whether or not when I'm going to be in it. I just wait and see what he gives us, which is what everyone else should be doing in this thread, instead of asking him for requests. If Stryks wants to add something, I'm sure he would ask first before doing so. He's giving it to us willingly, so I find no reason for complaining whatsoever!

Seriously. You can stop b****ing about my past complaints now. They're over with. I said twice already that I was done with that.

Also I agree with you, except I ****ed off brawl when I first saw the roster, my best advice to you is getting a 360, with Halo 3. You won’t regret it... unless you act like 89% of the brawl board’s population.

*facepalm* Forgive me if I sound rude in the following;
I can perfectly well understand that you like Melee more than Brawl, that's fine. It's a matter of personal preference after all. I liked Ocarina of Time and Windwaker more than Twilight Princess myself*.
However, Brawl is not a bad game at all, and I find it upsetting you are trying to ruin the experience to people who might not know any better when you tell them not to get it.
I also fail to see how Brawl was made to make "an extra buck." Why? Because he didn't tuck in some extra controls for a very very very small minority of people who buy the game to use? Because he made it so that the vast majority could have fun? I don't see a vast amount of difference between the controls of Melee and the ones in Brawl, except Brawl has less glitches because there was more time put into the game.
If you love the Smash franchise so much, I'm sure you can find a way around the "shallowness" of the game and go to what you were doing previously. If you want to leave, go ahead and do it. Personally, whatever "deepness" there was in Melee I don't mind giving away for a chance to play with you guys.
Sorry if I'm any less intelligent for sticking around and having a good time.

As a game this is mediocre, good at best. Shouldn’t even bother listing all the reasons because you all know about them, but for ignorance sakes:

The roster: Not enough more characters (No big deal), stupid and just plain lazy, fan-hating choices (Big deal).

The modes: Rotation, stickers, SSE, masterpieces, all of these are bad in the fact they are not good (SSE was known to be nothing special and had an even worse storyline / ending) and take up time which would have been spent adding Ridley, Mega man, Mew two or even... Mog.

The gameplay: Has become shallow and lacks depth, things which would not negatively affect the game and would increase its value ten-fold, adding lots of lasting power and pleasing fans.

The online: Good that its in, but then again they should have spent a lot more time with it, to actually make it... good. I mean seriously, for Brawl to not have online would have been... preposterous. But as usual Sakurai, instead of making it good decided to make it as barren as possible, except not so barren that people would hate it. I mean you all have witnessed it for yourself, there is no point in facing people in "With anyone" mode, you only have 4 phrases instead of voice chat or at least a better way to communicate. And the lag is apparently pretty terrible.

Other: Film clips 3 minutes long? WTF? Not many more event modes (IF anymore, I cant remember)? WTF? All characters unlocked pretty easily straight away? WTF? Tripping? WTF? 41 (Or something close) stages? WTF?

Also TP sucks because it focuses to much on GAY *** ***** **** Midna and the Twili instead of the Triforce three, but maybe that’s a bit to complicated for you Reyairia *Pats her on the head*

Although I don't like Shuma's wording or way of putting it here, I agree.
Sure, Brawl could have been much better (starting with Mewtwo being back and Ridley being included) but it's fun, I'm getting more fun out of it than I did with Melee (when I could only play one person who only used Marth. *shifty*) and I don't think I'm alone with that opinion, so don't tell other people not to obtain the game and miss out.

1. Lego you live in England, either you got the US version of Brawl or you are just listening to others and are *****ing without any real reason.

2. You can't call 35 characters "lazy" without actually knowing how much it takes to create a character resource wise. Believe it or not the game actually had a budget and maybe that us what they could include with what they were given.

Actually, Melee was a bigger improvement over its prequel and did just about everything right. Brawl, so far, has been a horrible disappointment. It's basically Melee 2.0 with a halfassed roster, halfassed online feature, halfassed single player mode, and halfassed features.
