The comic is now finished, turned out great IMO... now the coloring... thats the bad news, Im going with my friends today and, tomorrow is the smash tournament, so MAYBE on sunday it will be up, if not Ill do ANYTHING I can to upload it on monday...

I am definitely interested in being included in the War of the Clubs. While our Toon Link clan is still small and has yet to really find it's niche amongst Smashboards and it's member, I am working on improving that.

I agree though, something about Brawl annoys me. Maybe the fact that its too slow, or that the online sucks.

I never recalled Brawl being a competitive game.

Don't listen to them, they're probably "pro players". I could say other stuff but i don't plan to waste my breathe in a Brawl>melee argument.

The only thing Brawl has done for me is making Smash more enjoyable, if you have friends to play with then by all means get Brawl, it's a great game, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

There is one thing, only one that does suck in Brawl. Well, two. One is. Wi-Fi SUCKS monkey **** balls, the other is...

Well for one, I'm in the tourney, so I'm forced to use online. Secondly, I'm trying hard not to lose the last shred of interest in Brawl.

Look man brawl is a phenomenal game, just because its slower and most of the ATs are gone, doesnt mean the game is worse, I mean when we went from 64 to melee, it was a HUGE diference, its the same in this game, its gonna take a while but well adapt, just give it time... I for oneprefer this game over melee... lot more stuff...

But that's where you're absolutely wrong--Brawl and Melee are not the same game.

It's not even about the advaned techs, it's about the core gameplay mechanics. It's just another Mario Party or M&S Olympics.

The problem is that Brawl is taking a step back in depth when it should be the most technical of the three. It's even less deep then SSB64.

Sure, people will keep saying "give it some time! It will develop." But trust me, all the top players have been on it since the release. It's quite obvious Brawl is going nowhere fast.

And Blitz, the fact that all the idiots in his thread like Brawl > Melee only strengthens my point.

I don't see why there needs to be fighting about a subject like "Melee vs. Brawl". It's so simple, really.

If you liked Melee for the characters, stages, and basically the fun stuff, Brawl is probably better for you because it has more characters, fun stages, music and so on.

If you liked Melee because it allows you to actually have awesome battles and train your skill like some kind of olympic athlete, it's understandable that you'll hate Brawl.


Personally, I'm indifferent. Brawl is going to have more stuff for me to do, there are fewer characters who are absolute crap, and it'll let me play online. On the other hand, it's still disappointing in just about every respect. So, eh. I'll like it the same way I like Melee. I'll hate it but enjoy playing it. Except videos are a lot less fun now.
