Season 2 goes starts this upcoming Tuesday. But yeah like Nashun said you'll play better players before the reset (if your MMR warrants it) it's just impossible to be promoted.

I would want to spectate matches but not join. I looked at the GSL maps and I'm not too confident on my play on them. Plus I feel that they would lead into late game a lot.

also, why does blizzard hate zerg? I see they added taldarim alter to the ladder map pool... except with the overlord rock next to the expansions gone and the 3rd base blocked off with rocks...

They also turned Lost Temple into Zerg temple, so...

What? They made the natural bigger (harder to hold your expansion) and removed every cliff on the map (no place to put overlords for scouting). In many ways the original LT was better for zerg.

They made the choke bigger, making it easier for Zerg to attack. They took out the cliffs on the map so that nothing could be dropped. Have you seen the middle? I couldn't make a more Zerg friendly place to attack if I tried. Back door is really easy for Zerg to take as long as positions are close air/cross. TvZ on LT was ez mode; on ST not so much.

They made LT better in the sense that there isn't faults in the map reminiscent of steppes of war, but I would hardly say they made it into a zerg favored map. Its somewhat balanced now, but I would still say it favors terran, especially with an easy third to turtle behind.

Woah infestor buff is so nice. I can actually compete in DPS roach/hydra/infestor vs gateway/collosus. P is still more cost efficient, but not ridiculously so. Also, you can do serious damage with fungal if they try to attack you
