Alright, so i can't just grab his SD card again. These pacs don't come with what I need? Is there a guide on inserting these stages? If I read that I think it'll make more sense to me.

yeah, just get his sd card. in pf/ you should see a folder called module. just copy that your sd card and they should load correctly.

I fixed my textures on my smashville norfair. The imported texture data brres file was named MiscData[0] and that made glitched textures in game. I fixed it by importing each texture that was needed for the SV models by hand. I only have one problem. The main stage still doesn't show up. I tried moving the model up and that didn't work. Any ideas on how to make it work?
If someone needs to take a look at the stage, here you go http://ioj.com/v/rbkt2

Repost:

My stage used to work, but now, after messing around a bit, it works alright but ALWAYS freezes after the match, even when leaving early (no contest).

Anyone has a clue?
Please, anyone.

Can I reserve a slot?
My color would be Deep Sky Blue
I have two interesting untested stages right now:
PMD2: Dusknoir's Betraying (At Vast Ice Mountain).
And Mewtwo's Lab.
And no they aren't 2D.

But really that's seriously looking great. I really wasn't expecting all of the background detail but it's looking awesome.

My new, "World Inside Ichigo" stage.

Is it possible for the collisions to cause freezes? O.o

IMPORTANT:

Is anyone here interested in making a stage based on City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2?

I got my hands on that stage's textures and models, ripped straight from the game.

Yeah, my experience tells me that empty collision objects or simply unconsistent miscdata[2] files make stages freeze when the matches end, even when you're suspending the match.

In the end, are you hoping to make the tree 2 dimensional again, or will you keep it 3D, like an updated version? Either is fine, I'm just curious.

EDIT:
but still there's no way to add these shyguys ?
From what I've researched on the topic of stage building, I don't think there is. We just don't know hit-collision boxes that well for stage things.

depending on where your models are, you could copy the entire modeldata over and replace the base, but tbh, its probably more work than it would really be worth to move it all over. the real concern lies in making sure the stage scaling matches up to melee's.

eh, you were more worried about making it look accurate than scaling which is what you should be doing. like i said, scaling it is the easy part, just be sure you have a couple of hours free.

As long as the proportions are right, which they seem to be according to your pictures, then resizing the whole thing shouldn't be as much work as the initial building.

To resize, just apply the same multiply to each translation and size value. Doing this, the size will change for each element, but the elements will be still correctly positioned.

About the shadows, just send me the file when you think it's the correct size and will add the shadow system for you ;P

Amazing job with the stage, BTW

I have a question, is it possible to do something with the camera sort of like on the Super Mario bros. stage with something like Wuhu island for example and make it go around the edge of the island clockwise instead of standing still at the light house?

I'm not sure, but I believe it is. Mewtwo_2000 made a stage with different collisions in different locations.

I dunno much about how changing collisions work, though...

Hi, I fixed all of my textures on my smashville norfair. I still need help on two things. I still have not been able to move the main stage model. I have made the Y translation many numbers and none of them move the model at all. The second thing i need help with is the lighting of the stage. It is too bright, the main stage and moving platform are all really bright and I wanted to know if it was possible to darken the lighting a bit. If so, How do I do this?
If someone could help me move the main model and fix the lighting that would be great. Here is the stage so far. http://ioj.com/v/gjhqg
