WELL THERE IS NOMORE TO KNOW.
You run to where they fall and dash dance and follow their tech.
I figured you had figured it out when you got like 6 regrabs on me instead of just dash attacking when I teched backwards.

How do I tech chase?

:phone:
The biggest problem I noticed for you is that you get caught up with their initial DI. That is I was able to consistently get out of your chases by DI'ing away and techrolling back behind you.

Follow the di, then stand there and wait for the tech. None of this dash dancing stuff. If they miss the tech, jab reset or dsmash. If they do tech, don't guess and just react to where they go.

It's pretty hard to react to spacie tech in place shines, but do-able.

I have a bad habit of doing this a lot and he manages to get me every time. Don't give him more advice for it :\

I even told him specifically to run to wherever they DI and then follow the tech from there.
But I have to disagree about Dash Dancing. It opens opportunities. It confuses them. It lets you run away and back if they get up attack for a regrab. I mean, when you're first learning, you don't want to confuse yourself, but otherwise, you should dash dance when tech chasing.

don't dash dance during tech-chase with sheik... you can't jab reset while dash dancing.
if you react fast enough, WD to where they're going to land and then go from there. if you know you aren't going to grab them (you should know when your reaction is too late) then do a dash attack.
also if they tech in place a lot upsmash is funny.

vids are going up on my youtube account atm. i'm on doubles loser's semi-finals atm in rendering. will probably do singles after i get dinner

Good players don't miss techs too often.
I don't like playing to compensate/assume that the other player is bad, regardless of the fact that I'm not good.

I was about to say this. Playing Roman has made me react like that. I never really thought about it though.

I didn't notice I was doing that against you until you pointed it out, akuma.

Thanks, this is pretty much what I needed to know.

And Roman, shame on you for not wanting me to get better. You should know that me getting better will, in turn, make you get better.

Also, last pathways Michael told me you kind of gave up before your match with him started. That's no good. You gotta know you can win. At least, it helps me a lot. My tech skill, edgegaurding, and speed are pretty lacking. And last tourney I noticed that my tech chase isn't great either. But I make due with what I have.

Last pathways, I was down 2 games to Michael. I didn't tell myself things like "crap, he only needs one more game, I can't win." I told myself "all I gotta do is win the next 3."

/end stuff

I've learned this at the last tournament. With the comebacks that I did against Team Sinister and Leviathan, I've figured out that I can do anything, if I don't get hit.

Sinister is right. Sometimes you don't tech roll on purpose.

I think Wretch is too used to Falcon where you can dash dance while tech chasing. Sheik can't really do it.

You can, you just lose out on free jab resets. You can still tech chase a no tech. But obviously jab is better because of free follow up.

Michael, when I am ledge stalling, I noticed sometimes you like to run across to the other side of the stage. Why do you do that? You let me back on without any pressure at all. If you're not going to try and do anything while I'm ledge stalling you should still try and stay near the ledge so that when I get back on you still have some pressure on me.

Also guys, I still can't wavedash out of shield. :'(

EDIT: I can do it but it's hard during a game because I shield with R and wavedash with R.

Other than that I think it is just that I'm cherokee. I don't do anything special.
